Palpable emotion at the end, there. I know we all feel for John after what's happened, but sometimes it's easy to forget that, in his own way, Sherlock's suffering too.

I was thinking about just favouriting this and not leaving a review because it was just SO GOOD I didn't know where to possibly begin reviewing it but you deserve to know how absolutely lovely and heartbreaking and beautifully written that was. It was absolutely extraordinary! I love that you've tied together three instances where Sherlock asked if he was alright and the plus one absolutely broke my heart forever and the last line was like a punch in the feelings. Very very strong work! Your writing is incredible here - the story is perfectly crafted and very powerful and moving. You should be very proud of this one! I love it!
