I just finished Goliath half an hour ago and now I find this. I did not really expect this pairing until the end of the book to be honest, but it's rather interesting. Dr. Barlow had to be my favorite. And you portrayed her so well! Absolutely lovely.

Lovely little story here. I enjoyed how it fit the characters well :). It was kinda of amusing to volger being romantic. Anticipating to see what else you write :)

It's fics like this that make me fall in love with this fandom all over again. This is going in my favorites now.

Barking spiders, this is your first fic? Sure doesn't seem like it! I loved all the figurative language and metaphors-all very Volger-like. This was both elegant and fun to read, and this is coming from a girl who could go either way when it comes to Varlow. I'm definitely reading the second chapter now. Happy writing.

I like how it's written. And yes, interesting that Volger sounds more romantic, where as Barlow (even though she is interested) she still takes a more clinical approach. Too bad it's over before it began.

Cute. Very cute. I felt the Varlow love there. It kind of sucks that she married Alan Barlow in reality when in fiction, she pairs up so beautifully with Ernest Volger... Sigh...
