THIS is really good! I like your Kol, he is quite on character. I love how he is quite separated from his siblings but at the same time he loves them in his twisted way! In fics, I usually think that writers make Bonnie fall for Kol too soon and fast but in yours, even when it is a one short, it makes sense! I can see Bonnie feeling that way, wanting to be selfish for once... This was a pleasure to read! very well writen and that is not easy to find!

Whilst I'm not sure if this is what Kol would be like if stupid TVD had given him more personality and air time, I truly enjoy this interpretation of him and his relationship with the world in general as well as his outlook on his own mental state and on Bonnies personality. You are a very good writer, your descriptions and way of looking at these characters and the amount of deep thinking that went on in this conversation is beautiful.

That was brilliant. The pacing, the dialogue, everything was just perfect. I could actually feel Bonnie's frustration with how cryptic and nuts Kol was being.

Oh my goodness! I've been in *such* a Bonnie and Kol frame of mind today, and finding such well-written pieces for both of them (I also read L'enfant) is truly a bless, so thank you thank you!

You've got a great handle on both of these characters. Bonnie's my favorite TVD character, hands down, and you've really captured her well in both pieces–strong, courageous, vindictive, and perhaps a little cocky. Of all of the characters, Bonnie's definitely got the best working moral compass, but even she ventures into the morally grey and I definitely see her leaning in a darker direction here, but in very subtle ways (how proud she is of her body-swapping plan, how Kol recognizes her desire to be selfish and how affected by him she is). She's a a flawed, complex, fabulous character and you really do her justice.

As for Kol, I could write odes about your take on him. You've given him so many wonderful complexities that I know the show will never in a million years give us, and it just. Works. So. Well. I love how he's a perfect mix of troubled of twisted–that he's strangely masochistic in the way in the way he allowed Damon to snap his neck, welcomes being tossed around by Bonnie, and remains among his family even though he hates them and recognizes how poisonous they are. That almost every aspect of him is a performance that he purposely uses to incite people and welcome their wrath, if only to get their attention for a brief while, goes beyond pathetic. He is so gloriously fucked up, and I *love* it.

Other than Nathaniel Buzolic's beautiful face, I think what makes so Kol alluring is all the danger he represents. He's almost like the little devil perched on Bonnie's shoulder–he's perceptive and he recognizes himself in her (i.e. being neglected and wanting to be selfish) and he goads and he prods and he traps her against the door until all she can think about is how enticed she is by his darkness. He wants her to submit to him, but at the same he wants her to hurt him, and UGH I JUST LOVE HOW COMPLEX HIS FEELINGS ARE TOWARD HER IT'S PERFECT.

Their chemistry together is absolutely delicious and there's definitely attraction on either side, but I love how much Bonnie resists him (and I'm secretly hoping she decides to change her mind).

Speaking of that, I really hope you either continue this or you write more Bonnie and Kol-centered stories in the future because, man, these were FANTASTIC. Thank you so much for them.
