itisfinished12062015 chapter 5 . 6/10/2013 Very interesting. Keep writing. |
TheMipstaz chapter 5 . 5/23/2013 Oh gods the ANGST xD Goodness, I can't believe what a freakin tear-jerker this not-even-500-word-monster was. Lolz, anyways, as always (even though I think I forgot to review the past like 4 chapters), these small letters are awesome. Not a typo in sight, and I love the way you've chosen to display Kakashi's thoughts. It's a side of him we've never quite seen, so for you flesh it out like this is pretty damn awesome. Please keep updating :] |
Prescripto13 chapter 5 . 5/23/2013 You can see the cyclical nature of Kakashi's life in this chapter. It's very thought-provoking. |
Lagadatte chapter 5 . 5/23/2013 SQUEEEE :D I'm so happy you two updated, this story is so very touching in its simplicity, absolutely beautiful! Wonderful little chapter again, I do love reading snippets from Kakashi's point of view. I simply find it fascinating how he managed to pull through everything, all the emotional blankness after he lost the people he loved one by one; and that is beautifully described here. I love the steady flow going through the paragraphs, each building up to a tentative attempt at optimism before the next line cuts it off abruptly, stating that someone precious died. And the whole weight he had to bear is so heavy in that single simple sentence... Beautiful! The ending was so touching too, seeing him having lost hope, as if he lives only for the promises he's made to the ones lost. Poor, poor, Kakashi... you're doing a great job at capturing the probable emotional state he was in. Thank you for writing this little bubble of joy! |
Lagadatte chapter 3 . 12/20/2012 I absolutely love the idea, it is quite innovative and very touching. But this chapter... this chapter is brilliant, by far my favourite of them all. Seriously, you know you've read a strong piece of literature when a mere few paragraphs shake you so strongly that the words stay with you hours after having read them. It shows, in just a few words, the horrible wrecked mindstate in which Kakashi was after the tragedy, how the only way to cope was to "switch his emotions off". It's like... he has detahced himself from the world and observes from the side lest that attachment hurts him again. And then the last line. So much power into it, so much beauty. It shows the pain and emotions behind the mask of detachment. That single line, those four words, can be used to counter every single accusation that anyone might throw at Kakashi for "not taking care of his sensei's son." Simply beautiful. |
Hodgeheg chapter 4 . 10/29/2012 Lol, love Kushina. XD And I feel sorry for the Sandaime, whatever he's done to incur Kushina's wrath... :P Update soon! |
Prescripto13 chapter 4 . 10/28/2012 It's heartening to see that Kakashi's letters do not go unanswered. The proverbial "hand upon one's shoulder," it seems. |
TheMipstaz chapter 1 . 10/28/2012 Awww poor Kakashi :( BTW, I love the creativity of this fic and how you did it |
always-kh chapter 3 . 10/22/2012 great piece. interesting and touching. |
Prescripto13 chapter 3 . 10/18/2012 Love the close to this one. It's very indicative of Kakashi's heart. I think he tries to hide it so he won't get hurt, but it's there nonetheless. |
Hodgeheg chapter 3 . 10/18/2012 The last line is so sad! This is a very well written chapter, I like the matter of fact-ness about it. |
Fallen Quills chapter 2 . 8/4/2012 Naw... poor Kakashi. But Obito's right, he has to carry on. |
Voiceofsummer chapter 2 . 8/3/2012 I love the idea of the dead reaching out to the living, though it's painful that Kakashi can't hear Obito... Great chapter! |
always-kh chapter 2 . 8/2/2012 i think the idea behind this is great. and the feelings and emotions come across very well. |
Guest chapter 2 . 8/2/2012 It seems the dead have given Kakashi a mission . . . |
