I'd been avoiding modern AUs (for...some reason?), but I'm glad I clicked on this, because it's absolutely amazing. I guess I thought if the setting was changed so drastically I wouldn't be reading about the characters, but David in this story is so perfectly *David* and Jack is so perfectly *Jack* that this didn't seem jarring at all. I really like the description of David's apartment, and the dialogue, and how you used Sarah here. Seriously, everything is perfect!
