This was really well written. I'll be honest, for a bit I was rather curious as to how you'd bring Mycroft into it, but pleasantly surprised with that little twist to the original story line. All-in-all, a well rounded tan on ASiP.

Nicely written although I find myself wondering why John could not be the one to kill the murderer. It would have made sence being as he is ex military.
