| Guest chapter 4 . 1/17/2014 Hi! I love this story so far and I really adore the plot but there was one thing I just wanted to point out (constructive suggestion, not criticism) regarding Klara. In russia, A girl's last name would always end in A because that is the feminine ending. So while it would be Yolkov for her father and any male relatives, it would be Yolkova for any female relative, so her name would be Klara Yolkova. Also, in russia, people aren't given any random middle names by their parents like in other countries, but rather their middle names are always their father's frst name with ovna/evna attached at the end for girls and ovich/evich for boys. So if Klara's father's name was Augustin, her middle name would be Augustinovna (for boys Augustinovich), or if it were Alexander, it would be Alexandrovna (boys- Alexandrovich), or Grgoriy, it would be Grigorievna (for boys Gregorievich). So her legal russian name would be something like Klara Alexandrovna Yolkova, which literally means, Klara, daughter of Alexander Yolkov. It's only a small detail but I thought you might like to know. and I adore your story so far:) |
