Reviews for Flocking Movement: The Seventeenth
Guest chapter 48 . 10/7/2019
Wow, it must have been a sobering reality for Desmond when he saw the state Daniel was in and to know how close Vidic probably came to doing the same to him. Bleeding through. So glad you tied up Daniel's story in OotTT by letting Desmond heal Daniel's mind before he died. Beautiful.
Thank you.
LagunaL8 chapter 1 . 9/19/2019
Just finished the first pt1, heading to pt2 this is amazing!
Guest chapter 55 . 8/23/2019
Your beautiful story left me in tears. Thank you!
Guest chapter 11 . 1/24/2018
What happened to the AI temples after the Flock took Atlantis? Some were undoubtedly restored, but all of them? Morpheus' temple would seem to be a likely candidate to be razed to the ground given the bad memories it invoked in Altair and Jake. Des could've built Morpheus a new temple elsewhere. Seems like Apollo is another one that should be destroyed. Too much misery was allowed to be visited upon humanity in there. The slaves, Desmond in the stasis chamber, Daniel's suffering, Tommy's enforced servitude to Tiamat, Tiamat's own imprisonment. Seriously. Desmond gave the Adjatevs a chance, and they abused that chance. Apollo should've been razed and the Proeathans there forced to relocate, scatter, and start over, much like their slaves.
Great story, Xazz!
Guest chapter 10 . 1/22/2018
Xazz, your foreshadowing here was so subtle it took me four years and my first reread of your story to catch it. So either your foreshadowing was beyond brilliant, or I'm as dumb as Jake? Lol!
Whichever it is, I just realized your foreshadowed the end of The Seventeenth in this chapter. Desmond began having nightmares when they reached Jerusalem of falling down deep holes. He had a precognition of his fall down Mercury's temple in Mexico! He was already using Angelic abilities and just didn't know it. The ability of the Angels to dream the future. Hm. Given that most of the Flock are Angels, whether trained or not, did the others being present amplify Desmond's abilities? Especially since they were in Morpheus' territory.
What about Lucy? She was a prisoner of the Proeathans for so long. But she was an Angel, too. Did she have precognitive dreams of a time when she met up with the Flock and would join them and flee Proeathan control?
Absolutely love your saga, Xazz!
Guest chapter 9 . 1/14/2018
Did Venus realize the Flock were mostly all Angels with some Proeathan blood mixed in? I know she'd figured out Des was a Stadalla, thanks to Hawk's intervention. But did she know the truth about this group? And what a threat they'd be to the Proeathans if they caught them?
I love reading your wiki and then reinterpreting your work based on that, Xazz.
You rock!

Have a super new year, Xazz!

Warmest wishes for 2018, Xazz.
Thank you for Flocking Movement.
Guest chapter 28 . 1/3/2018
Lol! Des points out here that Lucy is used to cleaning up other people's messes; good experience for the new world Des built for her. They spend 4 centuries cleaning up peoples' messes. Their kids messes; Proeathan messes; human messes. Cause I'm sure the humans and Angels made a few mistakes as they all stumbled to find their way in the new world order, a few things they shouldn't have. Some would always seek vengeance. Although I suspect Des left the Angels more to Lucy's care while he dealt more with the Proeathans. The point is she is well placed to clean up messes. And she saw the mess Lucy Prime made of her life with a lot of help from others (hello Vidic and Andrew).
Also, this was a sweet meeting between Jake and Lucy, future best friends. I'm glad they have each other to talk to and trust no matter what. A good break when their respective spouses drive them crazy, Tommy and Desmond. Incidentally, the same person!
Thank you for your masterful saga, Xazz! Happy New Year!
Guest chapter 16 . 1/3/2018
This first meeting between future twin brothers Desmond and Tommy was classic! I'd forgotten how much fun it was when they sparred off like this. Did Desmond and Tommy ever have any conflicts through Tommy's natural life, Xazz? It couldn't have been easy for Jacob to live with the full knowledge of who and what Tommy was and conceal it from both Tommy and their children. Did their children know the truth about the Flock and the fact that one of their daddies was immortal? Or did Jacob pretend to age himself and fake his own death eventually? Even in the post-apocalyptic world, it can't be common knowledge that the Flock will live forever, young and whole. If it was, people would be clamouring and begging to join them, to become immortal (even though it's impossible with all of the Angelic vessels gone now) or at least have Desmond turn off their aging genes and heal them when they're hurt or sick. Desmond may be a god, but he cannot stop the natural order of life on earth for most people. Just himself and his consort; the world needs them.
Thank you for OotTT, Xazz.
Happy New Year!
Guest chapter 1 . 1/2/2018
Xazz, you reinvented FM for every sequel and prequel. You kept it fresh and relevant, which is one of the reasons I think readers identify with FM so much. You're amazing. Happy new year.

I love your story! Happy New Year!
Guest chapter 12 . 12/31/2017
You know this title chapter suddenly took on a whole new meaning when I reread it. After all, Desmond, the Little Bird, literally did go the moon in his role as the Stadalla. Nice foreshadowing, Xazz, way before readers could interpret its true meaning! You are a genious! Happy New Year!
Guest chapter 55 . 12/31/2017
What are the Proeathan AIs doing after the apocalypse? Happy New Year!
