A truly brilliant chapter, both showing the Brakiri/Drakh invasion and the Hegemony's surprise counter attack against the Shadows and Z'ha'dum itsef. I'm actually surprised that the Hegemony didn't try to destroy the entire planet itself- Teraton strikes could be and seem to have been enough to shatter the surface of the planet, but, tow in some planetoids large enough that once they destroy the defense, there would be nothing to stop it and a big enough 'rock' would crack the entire planet in half... There is also the potential to use an Alcuburrie drive as a way to destroy a planet- given that one of the flaws is that it grabs all matter within the bubble and when it returns to realtime, that matter would be going very, very fast...

I assume that's Lorien calling out from the core of Z'ha'dum.

I look forward to seeing how things turn out at Z'ha'dum with all those first ones and the following war between Humanity and the Brakiri/Drakh. Depending on Shadow/Drakh plauges, and how well hidden the Drakh are, it could be a very long and bloody war with million or even billions of deaths or it could be a very shot (but still very bloody) war.

Love the battle description, but the one on the B5 station could have been stated as being observed by a reporter or Terran naval personnel.

So they woke up Lorien? He is so fucking useless, to just sit around for millions of years watching countless races get destroyed and he wont do a fucking thing.

They should have blown that world up with him on it, if the rest of his race was this useless no wonder they are all dead.

Really liked the update, and the Dilgar finds that karma will always get you.
