This was a pretty funny chapter, especially Ginevra the delusional permanently turning into the Wicked Witch of the West! I was impressed that Pansy was part of the group of Anti-Ginny girls. Ron openly defying his mother and sister like that was brave of him.

That was a very good observation on Lily's sacrificial protection. It certainly didn't extend to the Dursleys since Aunt Petunia abused and neglected Harry as much as Uncle Vernon. Not just that, but Dumbledore never cast the blood charms, proven near the end of chapter 1 in the Philosopher's Stone. Percy did get what was coming to him for making an ass of himself at the Yule Ball. I also understand how more ideas can come up despite them not being originally intended, but when the creative juices flow, you have to get the ideas out there.

Ron was lucky that he didn't get beat up by Harry or at least slapped by Cho. He doesn't know how to treat a lady right, as shown in canon when he never really broke up with Lavender. He just avoided her like the dragon pox without ever officially doing so.

I have a suspicion that Harry may have tried dating Ginevra the delusional for the second time. She was always toying with other peoples' affections, as shown when she dated Michael Corner and broke up with him before quickly dating Dean Thomas. Despite his loyalty to her, Ginny ungratefully dumped him just for being a gentleman. In fact, when Harry broke up with her, she wasn't upset at all, she just grinned. That proved that she was never there for him when he needed it and that she toyed with his affections, too, even though it was superficial. Nice of Harry to go Angelina, Alicia and Katie for comfort and the chaser trio providing it.

I do like the idea of Harry and Pansy as partners.
