Definitely appreciate you exploring femShepley. I always found it odd that the developers never backtracked on changing Ash from bi to straight. A subtle, yet passionate relationship always seemed to be more her style than the slightly awkward and complete untrustworthiness that they stuck her with in game.

This is one of the best stories I've seen on this site! This reveiw is also very late. XD Especially since this paring is so rare, which really sucks. Anyways, can't wait for the next update!

Oh, the adorable awkwardness! I love how you write these two. Neither of them really seems to know where this is going, just that they both want it. I'm also eager to see how the new dynamic between the two will affect them on missions... Can't wait for the next update!

know I keep going on about this, but I just love how Ashley and Shepard do not know how to deal with this new step in their relationship, but are taking this “challenge” on headfirst (which IMO is true to their characters).

I really liked the reference to the pins/letterman jackets (and just imagining Shepard’s wearing Ash’s Alliance jacket or Ash’s wearing Shepard’s, just … the feels).
And just the way their relationship is progressing is fantastic and so … so them! With them not knowing to deal with it, but still going for it (as I mentioned before), and I’m excited to see what’s they’re going to face next. A trip to the Citadel?

Anyways, this story is great, (and I’m sorry this review isn’t more “useful” or constructive – your story really is fantastic), and I can’t wait to read more!

Hmm so read this when I first received the update several hours and thought I reviewed... apparently I didnt. I like the whole awkward ash/awkward shep thing you've got going, and I ended up chuckling like an idiot when Shepard did the whole shocked face, girlfriend thing.

This has to be my absolute favorite Femshep/Ashley fic! I don't understand how there isn't more written about the two of them, especially the way you portray them. I definitely like how neither of these two know to interpret their feelings, or how to handle the situation. Thankfully, it seems that they're going to try blundering through it anyway! Can't wait for the next chapter!

The scene with Ashley's "sense" (and the back story behind it) was adorable.

I'm ecstatic that these two have discussed their feelings. And Shepard's speech was fantastic... she doesn't beat around the bush, does she?

And Ashley at the end, with telling Shepard about how she needs to eat something so Shepard propose marriage. So cute :]

Anyways, this chapter was great! And I look forward to reading more!
