God I loved this! I loved the metaphor with the bricks and mortar, how this love is being built and weighing Kendall down and how he feels he can't breathe with this wall on his chest at all times. And the other smaller metaphors about spring and storms, the way you worded things, how you described it all...beautiful. Truly truly loved it.
