Haven't read this fic or been in Durarara for years but decided to come back and check this on a whim. Glad you've updated and now I'll have to reread everything to refresh my memory. It's one of those "this is a nice read I wish I could lose my memory to read it all over again" and its great I'll be able to experience that again but with more chapters. The Shizaya alts have always been an interesting concept for me so glad I've found this gem of a fic expanding on them.

Imagine my absolute joy to see you returned to this! Thank you for continuing this, I love this story and I love Hachimenroppi’s journey! Honestly, wish this was part of the actual Durarara story, you’ve introduced a better Yodogiri, and I love Shingen and Emilia being a dad and mom to their “sons.” Hope you still have to motivation to finish this, but for now, know this new chapter really made my week!

Both izaya and roppi make good points in their argument but both are guilty of what they're accusing the other of. Roppi is a coward cuz like Izaya he's afraid of rejection and getting his Hope's up. Izaya is a coward cuz he doesn't want to admit he loves shizuo cuz he's afraid shizuo will reject him and will pick roppi cuz after all shizuo showed no interest of patching anything up with izaya till roppi appeared. So they both make valid points and they're both cowards. Honestly best option is to rip the bandaid off and tell shizuo about roppi and see who he chooses. ones gonna get hurt and its obvious so might as well face it now.

Very happy the truth is out but I admit I did start to feel bad for izaya. Everything he's ever feared would happen if he actually fell in love and let someone near is about to go down. Like shinra said he has the most fragile heart. Not to mention it also sounds like the doppelganger theory is kind of coming to play bcuz everyone prefers roppi over izaya, izaya is pretty much being replaced which is his own fault. Anyway I'm soo happy u updated! It feels it's been 4ever I also can't wait to see more of my sweet boi tsuki!

This slow setup you had established built to the perfect climax! It's almost a relief that Shizuo found out and I eagerly await to know how (if) Izaya can resolve this one. I get the feeling Roppi's going to have to fight his crush to protect Izaya. Oh Dear.
But on a separate note, I am absolutely ecstatic to see this was updated finally-especially after leaving a review saying I thought this was discontinued. One of the few times I'm happy to be proven wrong. Thank you so much for continuing this. It truly reads like the original Durarara light novels, and for that reason it's so enthralling for me. Your writing is great. Your pacing is gripping. And your drama is realistic yet parallel with the franchise. So I truly mean it when I say I can't wait for this to be completed.
I know it is unreasonable to ask for speedy updates, but I pray the next one won't be a few years down the line. Take as much time as you need to finish this, but don't forget about us.
I wish you luck on your masters program. I hope the future goes good for you in whatever field you intend to apply yourself.

It's a pity too, because it was really good. It flowed just like the light novels and was a definite audience grabber. We were in the endzone and everything!
I hope beyond reason that this story will be updated. If nothing else to tell us its discontinued.

I really miss this fanfic... please come back... it was great... it is great but it's been almost 1 year since last update and i'm losing my hope... TsuRoppi is my favorite Shizaya alterego... an this is the best fanfic of them I really like it...

I'm so glad you updated! I really love this story and how it fits into canon. One thing I find interesting is Shizuo's opinion of Izaya changing. I like the idea that with some catalyst, Shizuo would see that Izaya is more nuanced and human than he thought.

As for your computer. Oh, god. I completely understand. It happened to me a few years back and even just losing a year and a half of information was devastating. But again, I'm glad you're giving it another shot! I'm really excited to read more, so I hope my excitement spreads to you. To be honest, I'm not in the DRRR fandom much anymore, as yuri on ice has taken over my life, but I still really enjoy reading this fic in particular. The only reason I'm so late reading this update is because I didn't realize it updated until today. I'm also happy to see this on AO3, so I can give you kudos too!
