meldahlie chapter 3 . 12/8/2015 There is nothing for it: there are SO MANY other thins I ought to be doing, but I have to stop and leave this a review to say MARVELOUS! I think the last line of chapter 3 is probably my favourite, but I loved all of it! For further detail, I'll just second everything in King Caspian the Seafarer's review :) |
Bookwyrm25 chapter 2 . 9/8/2014 oh gawd oh gawd oh gawd too good |

This Guy chapter 4 . 7/13/2013 All your stories are very enjoyable |
Questioning.Silence chapter 4 . 5/11/2013 I loved these! I read all of the Queen's Thief novels very recently and have yet to get over how intriguing and complex they are. Your stories do the series perfect justice. Wonderful job! ... Hope you write more along these lines? |
sirensbane chapter 4 . 4/23/2013 This is a wonderful story. I've enjoyed every chapter so far, and how everyone is in character. And I like the idea that throwing an inkwell and yelling "Gods no!" is minimal resistance. |
seekGod chapter 4 . 1/23/2013 what a beautiful collection of vignettes! I love your writing. :) |
Deja Know I Been Lookin For Vu chapter 4 . 12/18/2012 That was excellent! Lovely series of vignettes-as a mother of a sixteen-month-old, I have to say this one is particularly close to my heart. :D Loved all the brief glimpses-you did well in choosing what to show. Very enjoyable! Thank you! |
Rowan S Rose chapter 3 . 11/25/2012 Ohhhhhhhh, i am SO happy right now, there are tears in my eyes, ohhhhh! Anon chapter 3 . 11/23/2012 Loved the third one! Thank you so much for writing these. |
Teucrian chapter 4 . 10/2/2012 Excellent writing. I haven't read from the series in way too many years, but now I want to immediately run out to the library and check it out again. |
KrisEleven chapter 4 . 9/1/2012 This was my favourite as well. There are so many brilliant, hysterical moments here and so much sweetness that I can hardly contain myself. First off, of course they would be arguing and of course they would, ultimately, see eye-to-eye (especially loved the point that they both lost their mothers). Secondly, baby. CUTE BABY. :). Thirdly, Gen knowing how much trouble he's in when he calls his wife a cow and switching his direction of dialogue to compliment her in the most flowery language he possibly could. Forth, "and Eugenides' ridiculously hands-on gods could strike her down if she wasn't going to do it to the best of her limited ability." I nearly died, that was so off-hand and funny. It sounded just like her dry wit. Great work! I hope you do decide to continue this someday, because it is excellent. |
MandereLee chapter 1 . 8/28/2012 Heya there! Just to let you know I've read all four chapters, and just chose this one to review through. And I want you to know that all four vignettes are amazing and poignant and heartfelt. You have a wonderful way with words. The way you write emotions is just so raw. I'm not exaggerating, btw, lol. _ Attolia and Gen are not the easiest couple to write, having a relationship that is convoluted and almost unfathomable, but still so true underneath it all. And your writing just manages to capture that complexity; I love the way you write Attolia's perspective, the guilt, the doubt, the trust, and the love all shining equally well, which makes your writing all the more admirable. (I have this weird inclination to pretend that any fanfiction in which characters are IC is canon XD). I think my favourite still remains to be Chapter 2. P Especially the last line. Gave me shivers. |
King Caspian the Seafarer chapter 4 . 8/26/2012 *laugh* Oh, well written. I mean, Chapter 1 was chilling, Chapter 2 melancholy and heartwrenching (bittersweet, too), and Chapter 3 gloriously...I don't know. Paradoxical? How Gen is both saving and destroying three kingdoms in one fell blow. I love the way you write Attolia's POV, and how you sneak in lines from the book and clever little dialogues that lighten the mood. But this chapter. Irene the mother. It should have been plain that she would be as fierce and ruthless about keeping her child with her as ruling her kingdom. I like that Gen hardly put up a fight after her "Gods, no!" and shattering inkwells. She's kind of fiercely tender, quite like a lioness, and it's funny to see how she reacts to it and how Gen reacts. The line about Gen's perhaps less than enjoyable lullabying skills made me grin. As well as his "beautiful cow" blunder. *shakes head* Oh, Gen. Very well written! I enjoyed every word! |
page-394-always1 chapter 4 . 8/24/2012 Can I just say that I love this fic?! I really enjoy your writing so far and especially what you are doing with the characters of one of my favorite series! I hope you post more soon :) |
