Darth Vader chapter 3 . 4/12/2018 ... didn't Gwen's dad die in that movie? Gwen died in amazing Spider-Man 2 when Harry/green goblin dropped her... the lizzard dude was in the first one with Andrew Garfield and the lizzard dude killed Gwen's dad. then the second one, Harry Osborn killed Qwen. |

SleepEatRead chapter 1 . 12/17/2016 The story is good but if you are trying to be realistic, bullies don't actually abuse their victims so violently in the middle of a packed hallway where there is bound to be teachers and security guards. Even by American standards, that doesn't happen. If you are trying to portray a victim of physical abuse as the main protagonist, a warring gang setting or an abusive guardian/parent would be more fitting. Or if you really do want it to be a school bully, maybe he abuses her where no one is looking. Another thing I wanted to touch upon and I know I might come off as a know-it-all, but bear with me; description. If you really want to grab a reader's attention and actually hold it; you don't describe hair as 'dark black'. See how that doesn't fit together? It is either one or the other. Keep the descriptions as vague as possible (without being too vague; hard to perfect but it takes time) and only emphasize what you feel is important to personify your character. Like the hazel eyes, porcelain skin, and black hair might be the signature trade mark of your character. Don't go into detail about everything else like the height (5'1) and stature that is not fitting for a ballerina. The reader doesn't need to read about the what the girl vews as flaws that no one else might not nessessarily view as flaws. If you really want to make the reader view her insecurities as flaws, try a more negative descritpion, after all it is a first person story. Instead of curvy, maybe try stacked, comely, ample, or even chubby. Curvy is too uch of a positive description for such a negative protagonist. If you want her to be a victim of neglect, who is trying to please her mother, you probably would go for a morefitting activity other than ballerina, something that would be more fitting for the character's physical and mental abilities. I am not dictating how you should write youyr story and maybe I am a bit too assuming but if you want some tips, this might be helpful. |
