I enjoyed this story. There were some words I saw on my kindle that read emo /empty or similar. Idk if its a typo or my kindle. Just thought id let you know.

I'm not much of a fan of the Olympics tbh (I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to sports) but I really enjoyed this :D I love it when Sherlock shows John off. He's such an ordinary looking guy, that it's fun to make people realise just how special he is X3
And carrying the torch is a big deal! One he fully deserves.
I got to hold it with my sister back in 2000? for the Sydney games (at least, I think it was those ones - I don't actually remember it but I have a photo) And that's special enough alone. I can't imagine how awesome it would be to get to relay with it

That was not cheesy. It was definitely sentimental, but if John doesn't inspire sentiment then who does? This story was a wonderful use of the Olympics and fits into Sherlock canon beautifully. I especially love Sherlock thinking that John is brilliant like a hearth-fire. That sentence was brilliant and the ending made me tear up.
