Oh man I loved every moment of this and I pulled an all nighter to read it.

I feel like the story after the overdose were a little rushed but I feel like the rest of it was so good on it's own.

HOLY SHMOKES THIS HANDS DOWN IS MY FAVORITE OURAN FIC AND I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO EVEN FIND IT . Far out brussel sprout i loved it start to end. The characterisation was perf. They were still their identifiable selves but with a tad of personal development/growth to slide them into this setting. Love love love. Super sad that i finished reading it now :( there were plenty of moments where i actually laughed out loud or had one of those smirks on my face bc of what one of the twins were doing or the witty combacks kyoya whipped out. The funny ways hikaru would try and wake kyoya up was gr8!

Aaaaaa. So I just spent some amount of hours reading this. And I'm a tad bit angry at the ending so I'll break my review down in pieces.

A) well written and well paced. I was thoroughly engaged and no pieces felt like they were happening too quickly or too slowly. I was a bit confused with the timeline for the first couple of chapters, but by chapter 3 I got what was happening.

B) A lot of drama. A lot happened, and there were so many relationships that by chapter 10 I decided to make a diagram. I'm disproportionately proud of it, it's quite pretty.

C) good character work. I like that all of the characters were believable as aged versions of themselves, and no one switched character halfway through as I've often seen happen in dramatic fanfiction.

D) WHY THE FUCK DID YOU END IT WITHOUT RESOLVING MITSKUNI AND TAKASHI. I DON'T NEED THEM TO BE TOGETHER AGAIN BUT YOU CAN'T JUST END A STORY WITHOUT TWO OF THE CHARACTERS TALKING. AND I MEAN, I GET THAT YOU INTERPRETED MITSKUNI AS OVERLY CHILDISH, BUT LIKE HE COULD HAVE JUST LIKE TEXTED TAKASHI I'M SORRY AND YOU WOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO ELABORATE AND THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN ENOUGH FOR MY POOR GAY HEART.

E) I like how you did the drug arc. While not condoning there actions, you didn't really blame anyone as irideemably bad for doing drugs.

Overall good fic.

Dramatic, I loved it. Stayed up til 5:30 am to read it. Couldn't put it down!

This was an intense story. I really liked it!

Really frightening thing is that it's actually plausible situation given the characters. Especially for Tamaki and Honey, I can easily see Tamaki behaving exactly like in the fic (and it's one of the reason I prefer Kyoya/Haruhi) and Honey's infantile tendencies always held ominous foreboding.

I really liked this story. I was really worried when kyoya had the overdose but I'm glad he had a happy ending.

So, I've read this story twice now, but I'm terrible at taking the time to post reviews. I wanted to let you know that I loved it. (Obviously, I read it twice.) This is one of those delightful fics that makes me pause in my reading to just yell at the characters for a while (I hope you take that as the compliment it's meant as). I love your writing, I love where you took these characters, and I'm really intrigued by "Hikaru's Story" that I'm (probably foolishly) hoping exists somewhere? (Considering it looks like it's been two years since anything happened.) Anyway, I really enjoyed this piece, and I'm hoping to see where it goes!

Wow, 27 chapters later I still haven't lost interest once, and for me that is an incredible achievement! That's a great story, nice job!
