With all the 'free time' I have discovered I (along with about 30 million other americans) have, I am re-reading your wonderful story. I always read this one (along with Bridget45's Treatment Series) when I need to feel some hope in my life. Apparently too much free time on my hands is NOT a good thing for me...who knew? Haha.

Time and hindsight are truly wonderful things...thanks to season 8 we, as readers, get to put things into a clearer perspective. When Wilson had House do the rapid chemo treatment in House's apartment, (which I will rant about momentarily) we learn a couple things. First, Wilson in his HIGH MORAL JUDGEMENT did not believe a wonderful person such as himself DESERVED cancer...whereas House, as well as all Wilson's cancer patients apparently did. If I have learned anything in my life I have learned that filtered conversation is usually total bullshit...take the filters off and what you get is ALWAYS the truth. This is why prosecutors try to rattle witnesses on the stand...want the truth?...piss someone off and you'll get it. Your 'INQUIRY PANEL' is even more honest and objective now because of the truths we learned then.

Now for the rant...House could very well gone back to prison for Wilson's idiotic stunt with the chemo...had something happened that House had to call 911 that would have been it for him. Just like always, Wilson didn't care the consequences for House, he only thought of himself.

Thank you again for providing (for me at least) the IDEA that life can be 'fair'...sometimes.

This was a really great story! After watching and rewatching the series I totally can see this whole story with the plot line! You did an amazing job!

I Think this was a bit overboard... lol...

In one sentence: House had ADHD...

I can see him with Attention Deficit Hyper-activity Disorder...

1. Hates boring task, i.e clinic duty
2. Hyper-focus, on a case
3. Hyperactivity- the fidgeting
4. creativity- the piano

House is a smart guy. because he's smart he can afford not to study much, and be lazy.

I'm jealous, LOL.

Oh, I love the rant, I've been reading your story as a guide to mine; The Tribunal.' House isn't a jerk at all. Sure he is an obnoxious ass but he isn't a jerk. Can a 'JERK' save a patient in CONTROL (The bulimic CEO), he could easily get his medical license revoked. He saved Wilson's and Chase's careers twice each, Foreman, once, for goodness sakes. Sure he was playful, and sometimes, he an ass, but House isn't a bad person.

This one was really great, too. I loved the way you looked back at the entire show with a microscope. I felt bad for Cuddy at the end, but I could also see this wasn't at all undeserved. Really nicely done.

Very nicely done. Well reasoned and interesting format to review the craziness of House. Great characterisation and I think this might be my new post season finale head canon!

Can you write a sequel of this amazing story please? Perfect description of the characters. I would like to know more about House's new life.

this story should have a sequel about house continuing his new life and how things change and or stay the same. How he restarts his therapy and how it change him,...and how everyone tries to truly help him

I am re-reading this because I really needed to read something that got my dander up...hahaa This definitely does that.

I have probably said this before, but Wilson constantly ratted House out for EVERY perceived infraction that House ever did...Wilson, being the self righteous prick that he is, couldn't wait to tattle...made him feel superior, let people see what a 'good man' HE was compared to House...but House held Wilson's medical license in his hands on a couple of occasions and NEVER tossed Wilson under the 'spotlight'. I sure wish I had a friend THAT loyal.
