I thought maybe I should revisit your works, and I have to say you've definitely improved the quality of your writing. That's not to say the original was bad, rather it was just a little rough. That said this is still a really good story, and maybe I'll get some ideas for my own PMD story by rereading yours; though I give my solemn oath not to copy your's.

The part at the end of the chapter, with the earthquake, is just made really awkward by having "as per usual" in there. You might want to reword that, as well as all the other ones where there are earthquakes in this story, to make the story less awkward. Please do that.
