I always loved Aizen type characters. He is, in my own opinion, one of the greatest villains ever and the fan fics who have the MC be like him always spark my interest. Voldemort on the other hand began off as a great villain both during and after his Hogwarts Years but I think the Horcruxes destroyed it because Harry Potter years Voldemort was absolutely stupid. I have high expectations for this Harry Potter.

"the sight of eight planets circling a sun"... what, does he have telescopic eyes? Is he looking at a model of a star system? Sure, from Earth one CAN see Venus or Mars, but they don't look like planets. They look like particularly bright stars. That struck me as a particularly dumb turn of phrase. And the rest of the chapter is actually worse. This is made of cringe. Quick skim of reviews tells me it doesn't get any better. Not continuing.

First of let me say i understand that you most likely follow Christianity however it feels forced and out of placed for the both the harry potter and star was univerm.

Secondly why would the force be affected by faith? It makes 0 senses in the star was univers, the persons strength in the force from what i can work out from a scientific point would be the body's ability to handle the strain in using the force, as with a lot of things the reason force users grow in power as they train is has they build the body's ablitly to process the force.

While i have no issues with you being religion and i have no issue with people writing about there religons please try to keep it natural, Hermione could be from a Christian home (which would likely course her problems due to the bible's stance on spells and witch craft other than those used by priests and even those where removed from the bible) it is unlikely any one in the wizarding world would follow the bible for more reasons than i have time to write.

Duncan calls him a student due to the insignia on his robes, when and where did he get a robe, let alone one with the Hogwarts insignia. He literally went to Madam Malkin's directly after he saw Duncan and it was her first time seeing him.

Great chapter, interesting twist for Harry's second year professor. I should point out something about Neville though for your rewrite. Unless you planned to change Neville's past or the lore of thestrals to be force related, then Neville should be able to see them. The reason was left out of the movies but in the books they explained that Neville witnessed his grandfather's death. There are plenty of ways around this if you want to keep Neville unable to see them in the rewrite but I hope you give an explanation or show the grandfather still alive to keep us in the loop.

I'll definitely be checking out the rewritten story since I already enjoyed this version. :)

Ya know, I like this better than the same scene in the books or movies. It shows true intelligence on Harry's part. And not bad cunning on Dracos' part. It would've easily worked on MoooRon though. There must be a total disconnect between the chess master and the normal student as MoooRon just never seems capable of seeing any of the obvious traps that Draco lays out right in front of him. And there's also the fact that Harry's made quite clear he doesn't want to be friends with MoooRon. I have to wonder if he's a spy for Fumblemort. He's sure trying hard enough to force himself on Harry as a supposed best friend. Now MoooRon may be able to use magic but it's more than likely he'd be unable to use the Force or at best be a minimal Force user. Someone extremely far below Harry's level.

Of course, Fumblemort is pleased! He believes Harry to be easily manipulated and to willingly follow whoever shows him a little love. Too bad for his plans they became trash over ten years ago. If you take the idea from the Sith that the student eventually kills and takes their Masters' place and apply it to Harry Potter that would mean Harry's destine to kill both Fumblemort and Vulturesnot. After all, they are both Dark Lords each in his own way. And both are extremely bad for the future of the planet, not just the magical world.

Very interesting. Harry bought his own owl and still got the Snowy Owl. I would call her Hedwig but as yet I don't know what Harry'll name her. I do know though that Fumblemort won't be happy that A, the Dursleys' are in prison and B, Harry no longer lives with them. I very much like the idea that Harry got a bag instead of a trunk to hold all his stuff. That's likely another thing that'll upset Fumblemort. Another thing I foresee that won't happen is Harry befriending MoooRon that lazy slob. I can see him still befriending Hermione though. Seeing as he isn't bigotted towards or against any of the Houses in Hogwash, I can see him befriending students in all four. Though Malformed will likely end up on Harry's bad side. The boy is just too spoilt and bigotted thanks to at least his father. I don't know how you plan to write Narcissa so I can't say she's also responsible for her son being a spoilt and bigotted child.

I'm glad you got rid of the Dursleys'. Never could understand why they were kept on in canon for so long. I have to assume that Fumblemort was protecting them from their own stupidity. Almost every story I've read Vernon was an extreme loud mouth when home. When it came to Harry he more often than not yelled at the top of his lungs at him to come downstairs, to do all the chores or whatever. Byt always at the top of his lungs like Harry at the park or somewhere else far away. Next, there's Dudley and his gang always beasting Harry to a bloody pulp in front of the neighbors and yet no one calls the Bobbies nor Dudleys' parents to complain. Nor are there any complaints to the Bobbies about Dudley and his gang beating up the younger children of the neighborhood. Why? What parent wants to see their child coming home with torn clothes and all bloody from a beating? It would've never happened in the neighborhood I grew up in! So I can only assume that Fumblemort did something to ensure that anything the Dursleys' did was overlooked by everyone. So I like that you've removed them so early in the story. But I'd expect once Fumblemort learns they're in prison he'll do something to get them out and Harry beck in their abusive care. After all, he can't have a happy Harry Potter attending Hogwash now, can he?

With these two helping and guiding him I have to wonder why they allowed ol' Fumblemort to place him with abusive relatives. And I don't accept the tired old excuse that he didn't know either! He had the foresight to place a squib in the neighborhood to supposedly watch over and report on Harry. If he didn't set Harry's parents up then why place a squib to keep watch over him? Also, if the old fraud really cared, why then did he never do anything about the abuse? Figg, I would think would inform the old fraud about the treatment Harry received at the hands of said relatives. So what's his excuse for not stepping in to stop it? None of these questions where ever asked nor answered in canon. Nor what right the old fraud had to seal the Potters' Will(s)? Another puzzle is why none of the students ever told their families what went on every year at Hogwash? Think about second year. I know damn well if I'd stopped writing home for more then six months while in boarding school my parents would've wanted to know the reason why. If not from the headmaster then from me once I got home. Madam Bones had her niece at that supposed school and never appears to've asked what went on during the school year. Something is very wrong with that school or its' staff in either case.
