This story was really good. Do you know when you get that little wrenching feeling in your stomach? Your stories have made me feel like that, and it's not many stories that manages to do that. Out of these shorter stories, Pity Party is one of my favourites :) Just keep writing this great and all good will happen to you :D

Powerful, powerful stuff. It's late and my brain is failing but you hit it out of the park on this one. Trepidation was my name the moment I read the dedication. Stiles and harm are two things I hate being mixed but as the necessary evil I can appreciate the good that was spawned from such a dark event. I wish people could understand others, themselves, and all the things in life that are important without having to go through one of these experiences. Knowing full well it's the journey, with all its thorns and razor edges, that brings understanding, not the destination. Topics like this get to me on a fundamental level I've come to learn. I think that most people encounter extreme emotional hardships steadily throughout their youth and early life to help them develop a kind of emotional resistance, something of a callus or similar aspect, so that when the REAL emotional issues come crashing down they are better prepared to make it through. One of my biggest fears is that because I've never had ANY experience with these issues I'm going to shatter when the hammer falls. Maybe I'm just falling deeper into my warped psyche or maybe it's because of the lateness of the hour, I'm not even sure how I got sidetracked to this point. Just know that when I come across work this well done I always end up with my mind racing light-years at a time. Thank you.

I would say this is far better than what was presented in Ch.6, more explicit in descriptions of both mental and physical conditions. What time is it? SEXY TIME! So anyways, interesting intro for a smut piece, it took me unaware and honestly I thought the chapter title was a decoy and the story was really going to be deeply emotional with the scene to began with. Granted I know lust is an emotion but that's not where my head went right away. And I'm super immature because I just giggled at my last sentence and yes to answer your question I am a child; not really(I'm 24) but that's beside the point. Even with all the unbelievably erotic Derek on Stiles sexiness I'm still captivated by what amounts to be the first paragraph with Stiles out in the freezing rain. I'm a 'rainy days are good days' kinda guy for that express reason of hiding tears and matching external numbness with the already prevalent internal feeling. Great work as always, really enjoyed this part as well as your AN. You can't be serious about setting toast on fire, please tell me that's just an elaborate ruse because I might die laughing otherwise.

P.S. The planet destroyed in episode IV is called Alderaan. Not sure if you didn't know or whatev but my inner geek had to share info in case it was unknown.

You had me cracking up with this little bit. So glad you told me about this, so funny, so cute, so syrupy good. I can't finish the line "One cannot be a pancake unto himself." without laughing, it's so wacky and fun. Seriously though, this is the best example of how sleep deprivation can be a good thing.

Yes, this is what I've been wanting. Been wracking my brain trying to put together a timeline or storyboard for this collection as is the standard practice of my madness. It fits easily enough together somewhere in the middle of happy shenanigans but I was yearning for the launching point. Oh what a spectacular launching point you provide, I am literally giddy at this point. Just wonderful.
