Hi everyone,

It's been 3 years. Man, how's that for a break? I hope anyone who reads this is doing well.

This is my final note on this story.

Back when I started writing this, I loved Fairy Tail and everything about it. I had so many wallpapers, drew fanart, and I remember discovering fanfiction for the first time and relishing the idea of giving these characters a story that I wanted to see. I was also in 5th grade. I was 11 when I started writing this fanfiction.
So I wrote and wrote and took breaks etc, you know the drill if you've read my story. I was going through tough shit at the time, and writing this was a happy thing for me to do, like anything to do with Fairy Tail and those characters was a happy thing for me in those times. So I'm willing to admit that this was a lot of self indulgence and wish fufillment. But for me, it was more than that, it was therapeutic. And all the nice comments and reviews, and even the not so nice ones, I appreciated because it meant someone cared about the story and about me, enough to state their opinion.

However, I eventually lost interest. Fairy Tail was a phase, like all fandoms for me are. I can't stay committed, and it's a major personality flaw. All my Fairy Tail stuff was abandoned or deleted, and looking back now, my writing pains me. I mean, wow. I can't bear to read it. The prose is awful, the story doesn't make a whole lot of sense, and the characterization was loose at best.

But that doesn't matter as much to me as much as the fact that this, however technically bad it was, was a learning experience and a way for me to let go of the real world. I figured out a way to get through bad times by writing and sharing a story online, and by acting like a perky, kind, ditzy teen, I projected who I wanted to be and became my own role model.

So. I'm not sure how much that made sense.

Final word is, I'm not updating (not even if you kick my ass with the DEATH NOTE. Thanks for calling me a bitching motherfucker though, although I don't think you quite know what bitching means in a casual sense. I would insert a gif of Inigo Montoya, you know the one, if I could.). I'm done with Fairy Tail and even if I did want to bother to update, there's no way it would be good enough to honor either the original manga by Hiro Mashima or my intentions when I was younger.

I thank all of you who have read and enjoyed my story and especially those who favorited and left reviews. I'm in your debt.
