Good story.

Lovely story, and well done as I've mentioned more than once. The Calling will remain my favorite of yours simply because it is like written art, an emotional masterpiece. But I love this too and I'm grateful you've written it.

So very sweet and perfect. I love your notes too, sometimes I wish I could sit around and chat with talented writers who share my obsession with this couple. I have so much I want to learn! The first 2 fics I wrote were mindless fluff I kinda spit out easily, basic writing skills having been something I'd always possessed. I'd read a few fics and figured I could do at least as well. But at that time I hadn't come across any really good authors like yourself. Since then I've come across some and my current fic, the journey, is as much a journey into my writing ability as it is for my couple. But reading your work has really shone an even brighter light on the depth that exists in weaving a good story, and I'm realizing that there is still so much I need to learn. I don't even know if you still check this site, but I hope you know that someone out there is in love with your work and using it as incentive to better her own.

Loving this story by the way, but I don't think it trite at all. Two years ago I was forced to end a four year relationship with a man I loved, but could no longer be with for complex reasons. I had been passing flirtations after a while with a gorgeous man at the gym and finally decided to quit the bullshit and ask for his number. He acquiesced if I would tell him my name first. I did, and he shook my hand and introduced himself, with the same first name of the man I'd previously been with (not an overly common first name). I cursed aloud at the bitter irony, but anyway, now we're getting married in March. All that random, unsolicited information to say that I love those little twists of fate and, at least for me, it's totally believable!
Now, back to more of this excellent story :D

Damn, what a beautiful story that I just read... Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for writing this, my heart is now warmed up after seeing those two ending up like this. You drove everything so well, and although i was expecting some smut, you just took everything so nice, that i didn't even missed the detailed sex, because you have managed to leave it to our imagination, and you managed it very well. Nice work you got here, I must say thank you again. English is not my native language, so I'm sorry if I didn't make any sense, but I had to leave my thoughts.
