Opalowl13 chapter 1 . 12/30/2018 Brooklands under attack. Seriously, I've read too many stories where the government sends K-unit to look out for the kids at Brooklands, and correct me if I'm wrong, but that is totally unrealistic! A school shooting would not cause the government to station soldiers there. If they were there to protect Alex it would make slightly more sense, but most of the time the unit is oh-so-surprised to see him. |
otterpineapple03 chapter 5 . 11/23/2018 THANK YOU SOMEONE SAID IT |
Riderkitty chapter 5 . 2/28/2018 This really have me a wake up call, so thank you. I'm currently writing a wolf guardianship fanfiction which is highly cliche and I'm trying to find ways to make it different, which is really difficult. I'm not giving up on it because people are already reviewing it, but your guide helped. I was wanting to write a new story about a soldier I had completely made up and he would meet Alex somehow (haven't worked that out so far) but thanks for the tips! |
Zyzyax chapter 1 . 10/31/2017 Oh my god! I haven't laughed this hard in ages. This was perfect. The only thing that did better was a parodical fic I read that combined every common unrealistic trope in less than 1000 words. I don't normally review, but I would give you an A. Thank you for making my month. |
Guest chapter 5 . 8/28/2017 I think I like you |
Goddess-of-the-Moon-39 chapter 5 . 6/20/2017 This was totally epic and I completely agreed with all of the points you made. |
attemptedvisions chapter 5 . 7/7/2015 Perfection |
attemptedvisions chapter 1 . 7/7/2015 This is fantastic, and completely true. |
Alibi Nonsense chapter 5 . 9/21/2014 Sorry - that blank guest review was me. It was accidental. That... that has cleared up a lot of stuff. I haven't read all the books (grr - snail mail!) and so I generally assume the constantly written stuff in FF is correct, because, y'know... If you have a story in which Eagle is hyperactive, you think 'oh, the FF user made Eagle hyperactive' whereas if there are six or more, you think, 'oh, maybe Horowitz did some more character development mojo later in the series that I haven't read yet'... and, well... assumptions etc. The chain continues... Likewise with the Yassen comes back from the dead thing. (What!? How come he's ressurrected so many times? Ah... something I haven't read yet again...) Thanks. I didn't know any of that about Breacon Beacons, either... Thought it was fictional. XD I can die with knowledge in my head. (That was probably slightly creepy, but... oh well...) |

Anon chapter 4 . 8/12/2014 OH MY GODS... THE BIT ABOUT SNAKE NEARLY KNOCKED ME OFF MY BED! |
Guest chapter 5 . 7/10/2014 This is so true. I wish more people read this and actually USED it |
GladToBeAbnormal chapter 1 . 5/18/2014 Thank you! If only more people would read this, it applies to a lot more than Alex Rider. I may not actually write AR fics but I am sick of having Alex either be weak, depressed or almost super-human! |
TheSupremeShadowOverlord chapter 4 . 4/5/2014 Is it socially acceptable to propose to someone in a review? Because I really, really want to marry you. You're voicing every head-banging moment I've had reading Alex Rider fan fiction and it is beautiful (why can't people just look up Brecon Beacons on Wikipedia?). Thank you. |
Half an Inch chapter 5 . 3/31/2014 I said it once and I'll say it again. That. Was. Awesome. |
