This is one of my all-time favorite USUK fics...you get an unfettered glimpse at their humanity, affection for each other and, most of all, gratitude for being given one more day. Can't find a single flaw in it.

Altogether, lovely lovey one shot (at least that's how I see it). Oh and I noticed I love the way you do dialogue. Like the abrupt pauses, the way you can tell they're speeding through a sentence or talking slowly. I need to master that :)

This is really good (as expected of you, obviously). I love the "dark room" concept, and you use it really well to bring out England's character. An the reason for America's getting shot... that's just so like him. Keep up the wonderful work!

America and England's relationship here is more profound than lovers, hahahah! I kind of like it! And the concept of dark room is really appealing, and how England's train of thought has gone into overdrive when he has seen, experienced America dying in his arms. It's really beautiful, and England's thoughts of the darkness and of the light in America's eyes is just sjfljasldkfjlsdjflksuriowenv ! I LOVE IT!
