So this is probably a bit late, because this story was published three years ago, but here are the translations for Maura's Serbian phrases (according to Google translator, so they're probably not totally accurate, but it should give people an idea of what Maura's talking about):

Feeds so good (I think that one's supposed to mean FEELS so good, not feeds)

Oh, and Jane says something like "If you don't start speaking English, I'm going to bend you over the counter and f**k you senseless" :-)

Ok, I know this story is really really old, but I just found it so I'm dropping off a comment even if it's unfinished.. The storyline was quite good, and I really like the way you write, btw. But, I gotta tell you: I'm Italian, and I understood that you probably meant "fuck you senseless" but...uhm, google translate is always translating that as first a "fuck you" (as in the insulting meaning, "vaffanculo" which btw in Italian becomes the equivalent of "go get yourself fucked in the a**") and separately "senseless" as in "lacking of any meaning"... ;-) Lol. The scene was pretty great, but at that point I just started laughing..! Good writing, though! So, if you're ever writing something in Italian again, or also trying to seduce an Italian girl, send me a message and I'll gladly translate for you ;-)

You know I love your stories, and this one is no exception. You gave me RSI with this multi chap! lol. I'm okay with this ending here, thought I would have liked to see the case wrapped up, knowing Jane & Maurs are together is really all I need.
Ya gotta love Angela don't ya!? I think that is one of the things the R&I writers get right...writing for Lorraine Bracco. They just don't use her enough.

I am in awe of you! And, (my gf is ok with me saying this), just a little in love with you *blushing*. The way you set up a scene, physically described our leading ladies, a touch or a glance, is like reading a favorite poem or listening to a much loved piece of music. The words you use and how you put them together all just dance magically on the screen making your tales feel like we're at the ballet and a delight to read. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha - still flushed, and now far too horny for my situation. Love Angela. Love teasing Maura even more. So want this in my life. I want my best friend. I want this love for them, for me... Huh. Wish this was even more chapters already. Seeing Jane as domestic was a nice treat. Throwing Serbian and Italian in the mix was refreshing too.

Wow. I love that Maura is the strong and comforting one here. I need a bit more on the backstory, or maybe I just didn't teadk it well enough. I also liked the insight to Jane's tenuous grasp on her strength.

Wait, I feel completely left out of what the revelation is. I do now know the nature of J & M's relationship, but the case has me baffled, in a delightful way.

OMG - such adoration for Maura. This description is amazing, and shows the reverence in which she is held by you and by Jane.

And the lovely last bit keeps me guessing about the actual nature of their relationship. I love you for this!

I love the tension in this chapter. And yes, I said I needed sleep, but you clearly pulled me right into continuing this. Maybe I can sleep now? I love that the J& M interactions are only slightly more than professional. It actually reminds me of the Mulder / Scully banter and relationship. I like not knowing whether they are a couple or not. It is a different look than I am used to reading in fic, but I like the difference. This reads much more like an actual episode, where much happens off screen.

Ok, I know I started this too late at night for an 8 chapter fic. I need sleep, so I will just say that I am anxious at the start of this. I want to see where it goes, and whether J& M are together, discover each other, or something else. I want to see Jane bring closure to this case too. Because she cares so deeply about the victims, she makes me care, and that is your doing. You make her what she is here. Well done!

This is absolutely amazing! I just read all 8 chapters and I cannot get enough! I love the case and how deep Jane is invested! I love how Maura has been there from the beginning, allowing Jane to open up and just let go. Their coming together while very erotic and sexy was absolutely beautiful and so romantic! I am so glad I happened upon this story, it's so well written and just wonderful! Thank you for the amazing read, I can't wait to read more!
