Ms. Sleepy Clover chapter 2 . 10/29/2019 Wow so after everything she done for Ferelden, they still treat her like shes gonna become an apostate. Why doesnt someone just burn down the Chantry? |
MearnT chapter 56 . 7/13/2016 Hello, Its been awhile but I finally got back to reading this lovely story and I'm quite happy with how you paced everything and kept it exciting. Anyways thanks for the enjoyable read, I look forward to reading more chapters. |
Shakespira chapter 56 . 5/8/2016 You have such a gift with language, painting such vivid pictures. They help pull me into the chapter, into the story until I am not reading, but witnessing the story and this chapter is no exception. "Time speeds up in the Fade. It also slows down and trying to relate anything tangible from the real-world will quickly become an exercise in futility." Loved this as a way to express the enormity of the unexplainable Fade. "A molten ball of fire smashed into the ground not far from where she stood, sending a spray of shattered rock that pelted any exposed skin. A whoosh of heat unsteadied her, also singeing the ends of her hair." Evocative and visceral, I can feel the heat of the fireball, feel the suddenness of it. And the kiss...speechless. They are perfect for each other as they are beginning to understand and appreciate. Great story, awesome chapter. |
mille libri chapter 56 . 3/26/2016 Kess and Nuraya seem to have gotten themselves trapped in a bit of a no-win situation - I'm looking forward to seeing how they get out of it! |
Pintsizedpsycho chapter 56 . 3/26/2016 Great chapter. |
ElyssaCousland chapter 56 . 3/25/2016 Hooray! I was thinking about you the other day wondering when we would hear from you. Fun chapter! Can't wait to see what happens. |
thinkdragonage chapter 56 . 3/25/2016 I love Nuraya and Kess's kiss in the fade, and their wry commentary on it, so much. This whole chapter zings along with unexpected twists and turns. I can't wait to see what's next in store. |
Melysande chapter 56 . 3/25/2016 Arrggghhhh! Smiled when I got the email, but ... oh no... cliff hanger! Tension relieved somewhat by Kess joining Nuraya and their relationship - at least in the Fade - improving. I have to think the distraction of Kess' change of heart/mind diminishes the effect of the Fade - maybe too much, when they should be paying attention! |
mille libri chapter 55 . 3/15/2016 I can feel it all beginning to come together - I can't believe I'm finally caught up! Can't wait to see what happens next. :) |
mille libri chapter 54 . 3/15/2016 I love that Sauniere is a better liar than Nuraya, and I very much like his practical, full-steam-ahead pursuit of scholarship and knowledge. |
mille libri chapter 53 . 3/15/2016 I thought this was a fascinating chapter - not only for how thoroughly comfortable the three of them became in their prison under the influence of a modicum of kindness, but also for how much Connor has matured now that he is the oldest and the one who needs to protect the others. |
ShebasDawn chapter 41 . 2/21/2016 Yay, I'm so glad Kessler is back! But worried for Connor. And now a dragon? You really know how to pile it on. xD Great chapter! :D |
ShebasDawn chapter 40 . 2/13/2016 Hey, I don't remember Templars praying to fire - is that your addition? It's pretty interesting. :D Wow, I didn't expect Cullen and Carver to want to bring down the chantry! I'm so excited, and cheering them on! (I totally agree with Carver's POV.) It's a shame Kessler doesn't know how they feel. I love your descriptions of the forest - they're so evocative. So many times I think, 'I wish I could think of stuff like that when I'm writing.' OMG, what a way to end the chapter, and I can't wait to see what's up with the knife, and who's attacking Cullen and Carver! Sheesh, did I actually think I could catch up last weekend? Darned real life. xD |
Shakespira chapter 55 . 2/12/2016 I know I haven't reviewed for awhile but I'm still reading and still thoroughly enjoying the story. "Would giving the thought voice be considered a manipulation if the sentiments behind them were real?" Hmmm, a very thought-provoking question and to hear them each in their own way voice their feelings was good to finally read. I have mentioned many times my love for Kessler's inner voice and his outward persona and I will say it again...he is, without doubt, my favorite Hawke. The use of red lyrium as the source of the taint adds a certain urgency to the whole process and that note of disappointment that he would not be able to see it again underscores the danger of it beautifully. Bless Tasso who has the innate ability to reach everyone on a level specifically their own. He is brilliant at it as evidenced here. This really is such a breathtaking and far reaching story. Awesome, as always! |
ShebasDawn chapter 39 . 2/4/2016 "The Suspicious Root" LMAO I love that! I can't blame Connor for wanting to be more like Kessler. For some reason, every time I read a chapter in Connor's POV, I feel like I'm holding my breath, just waiting for him to do something that will get himself in trouble. :) Finally I get a chance to get back to this! If I'm lucky, I will be able to catch up this weekend. |
