inigo1220 chapter 20 . 5/11/2014 This was absolutely amazing. I knew nothing about Alaska when I started reading this and pretty much considered it an ice sheet, but I have so much respect now. Also, good job with the states! I've never tried to personify states before, but I love how you made them each their own person with duties and everything. It's adorable. Our lovely 50 state family! :) |
Michigan chapter 2 . 3/2/2014 Remember his I mentioned the Antarctic countries? I just realized that there are two major events that you can cover, and both are the reason I chose to reply from a chapter in Forget Me Not: The Great Chilean Earthquake of 1960 and The Christchurch Earthquake Sequence of 2010 - 2013. The recent floods and fires in Australia might count as well. Don't leave out the equatorial countries, though. Typhoon Haiyan, the Mexico City quake of 1985 and the many Indian/Bangladeshi cyclones, namely Bhola in 1970 and 2012's Nargis come to mind. Me? I don't think The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald really belongs in the same category as The Good Friday Earthquake of 1964, 9/11 and The Halifax Explosion. |
CrazyLife247 chapter 2 . 12/13/2013 Anyone else laugh their butt off when they read "Code Pegasus" |
Buggy2013 chapter 20 . 5/11/2013 This was AMAZING! I applaud your avid attention to historical content, excellent writing abilities as far as both plot development and grammatical accuracy, and consistencies with characterization. I enjoyed this story very much! Thank you :) |
TheNSIGirl chapter 20 . 3/9/2013 Aww, the story's over already, that makes me really sad! I'm looking forward to your next story, I'd love to read about this event. I always admired the Japanese for carrying on in the face of these disasters. My very late condolences to your friend, nobody should ever lose a someone, let alone their sister. |

NanaRoza chapter 20 . 3/6/2013 I love this story. You showed a diffrent side of Alfred that most people don't see. |
TheNSIGirl chapter 19 . 3/2/2013 Alfred's officially off my jerk list. To tell the truth I actually feel sorry for him now. But that ending part with Canada and Alaska sounds promising (even if it was a bit fluffy :D) |
mofalle chapter 19 . 2/27/2013 I'm glad to see Alaska moving on and returning home. I enjoyed that conversation between Canada and Alaska at the party. Also America in his Marine dress uniform is always a sexy mental imagine. I'm surprised that there is a next chapter. I thought this chapter wrapped up the fic nicely. |
kshima91 chapter 19 . 2/27/2013 I'm sad that this story will be ending soon. It ended rather nice though. I enjoyed this immensely. I loved this line so much: "If one looked hard enough it was still easy to see the scars, but it was quickly being over taken by shear amount of life that was covering the wounds." It was really powerful. Eagerly awaiting the epilogue even if it means the end |
StaceyWritesFanFics chapter 19 . 2/26/2013 *sniffle sniffle* I loved this! I was tearing up at teh end up if, then the moment got ruined when Mattie told about Alfred's fear of ghosts. :P Then I chuckled. Great job and I am so looking forward to the epilogue! |
Qrowbars chapter 19 . 2/26/2013 Gah, love it! (There was a loud 'ohhhh' noise that possibly came from my mouth when Alfred said bye to Alaska too.) |
Sesi Braginskaya chapter 18 . 2/26/2013 I'm so sad this is ending! Really it was amazing in glad I found it online. Thank you very much. This was a fun ride! And sorry for the fail at the previous review my cat bumped my hand. |
