Quite an interesting short. I liked the non-romantic interaction between hermione and snape; a very introspective take on the chain of events. Nice job!

Awwe he really is a very brave man. And this story is really strong in so many ways, I love the thought of him waking up again by help of Phoenix and I can picture him flee if that happened, maybe to get a fresh start somewhere new.
Also think it is great that Hermione was there for him in a way if only for a little while.

ive observed that hermione and lily do have alot in common, simular appearance, both muggle-born and very bright, it would explain y snape resents her, she reminds him of his lost love
