I like the pace of Brenda and Sharon's relationship, and that they're friends with Fritz (and Andrea) at the end, but the Stroh part of this storyline makes no sense. He was the big fish; his partners were all lesser criminals than him, so giving him a deal to squeal on one of them wouldn't happen to begin with. If it somehow did, it would still involve far more prison time. And whenever he did get out, the LAPD and his victims would know.

Oh wow! This is definitly one of my favorit stories ever, the angst, sensation and determination in the lives of those women are incredible well written. Thank you so much for writing about the couple I like most. And including Andrea and Fritz, great storyline ️

Thanks for the great ending. I am a dyed in the wool Brenda-Fritz 'shipper, and rarely read B/S stories, because Fritz is either turned into the bad guy-he cheats on Brenda, starts drinking again, etc, or else gets his heart shattered when Brenda falls for Sharon. But I think you did a nice job here giving Fritz someone to love at the end, and having him actually be able to be friends with Brenda (and Sharon). Although I much rather see Brenda end up with Fritz, this is an ending I can live with. Thanks for not leaving things they way they were the last chapter.

Hmm.. great update, but the end? I guess it kinda has run its course, though I would hope that you'd consider writing one more follow-up. Even if it's told as though it were 5 or 10 years later, it would be interesting to see if they were still together, what they're doing, are their families involved in their lives, do they have friends and movie nights? Do they go out often? Do their lives still revolve around their work, etc.? I like the world that you created for them. The fact that Brenda is still traumatized from her experience adds some depth to the story, and it's not something that she would just get over any time soon. So she would need Sharon's support, and therapy, and a job that doesn't trigger particularly painful memories. Maybe she could become a PI, or a special investigator for the mayor's office? Who knows? But I think that you've created a story filled with so much possibility, that I'd hate for you to abandon it so soon. Nevertheless, thanks for sharing it! I thoroughly enjoyed reading each chapter of this fantastic tale! Cheers!

Very happy this is continuing- too many of my favorite stories lately have been finishing, and I'm still enjoying this one so much. Glad to see that even now that she's safe, Brenda's experiences aren't just going to vanish- looking forward to seeing how they are able to deal with her getting back to her old life, and what changes might be in store for both of them going forward.

I just found this today and I read it all and the only thing that is running through my head is 'WOW'.
Simply because it has been a while since I've read a story of the quality.

Awww this was so worth the wait ! I loved it, it's exactly like I pictured it, you're not rushing them into anything, and I am so gratefull for the slow build up !
Gosh this chapter is so great ! I am suffering a major case of cuteness overload right now. Everything is so damn well written and spot on, from Brenda's clinginess to Sharon's doubts about how to behave, it is wonderfull.
I'm in the Carebear realm right now, with a silly grin plastered on my face because I am so happy they finally found each other (even if they still have to confess their feelings).
