There are literally no words for how much I absolutely adore this story. 2020 has been an absolute bitch, so thank you for brightening my quarantine. Hope you're doing okay and staying safe :)

I'm pretty new to ATLA, so it took me this long to find this gem of a fic. I know it's likely you've moved past it, but in the event you update it someday (pwetty pwease?) I will come running. There is so so much potential in the story: Azulon, Kaya, Hakoda, SOKKA, Lu Ten (I really really want to see the Oma and Shu story play out eek!), Ozai/Iron, obvs more Zutara fluff, etc., and you are such an incredible writer that wherever you take this story, I know for a fact that it will be pure gold.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this take on Azulon. we didn't get to see much of him in the show, and it's really interesting to see how he takes on Katara who has been established to be a prodigy as well, just his opposite element.

This is such a good story! I'm loving it

I can't wait to read more. The role Katara plays is intriguing. It's unfortunate her role as a bender was not really verbally acknowledged and mostly overshadowed by Aang. She mastered her art rather quickly so like Azula a fast learner but.. unlike Aang and Azula and instead like Zuko she's not exactly naturally talented (she needed to bend backwards) and needs to work hard to make up for that. How will she learn bloodbending and healing? I doubt Hama will teach her healing.. I don't think that's part of her plan. I don't think her character will teach Katara that grace but instead will try to teach her hate. As for Zuko, I like how he's slowly paying attention to Katara, kin or not. There child-like innocent friendship is enduring. I sort of want a POV from him trying to.. um I'm not sure.. trying to do something that doesn't involve Katara (swords?)..

Kaya's part is, sad, to say the least. She's determined but in the moments of her dreams I read her falling into Oma.. and I wonder when she's fall for her reborn Shu as Kaya. She's "more like Kaya" but she's bound to met herself in the middle. Hmm.. it's sort of disappointing that noone, not even Iroh, knows of their past together. The characters understand reincarnation, destiny and the will of spirits.

When will Katara or Zuko start wanting one another? Is there going to be an arranged marriage? Who will start this? Azulon? Ozai? Or will Zuko ask for her hand, take her as his, like Lu Ten took Kaya? And is there going to be a plot like Oma and Shu between Zuko and Katara.. was the Yin and Yang symbol significant like that?

Will Mai and Ty Lee and Team Avatar be included? Will Mai and Zuko play a role? Will the Avatar?

I have so many questions and hope this fic answers them soon, when you update. I believe you'll update when inspiration hits. (Maybe some of my questions helped?) You can't PM me to tell me you will or will not update since I turned the feature off due to spam. I love this, I understand the wait, I won't push but I hope you do.

This story is really interesting. I hope it continues.
