Lelouch is really careless with his Geass, I think. He doesn't necessarily use it more than in canon, but much more obviously, with all the soldiers that he "convinces" to openly help. Considering the main reason the BKs betrayed him originally was their discovery of it, that seems like quite the dangerous choice to make. Especially since he already noted the risk of having it go Runaway early.

I'm confused, your notes at the start of Chapter 13 said that Euphy and Suzaku never met... and that if they did (or were going to) then it WOULDN'T be the same as canon, and your notes on Chapter 8 say that Suzaku isn't going to have the same blind devotion to Euphy, so he might not be able to rationalize fighting Zero... so why does Chapter 19 say that Euphy met Suzaku similar to canon and why does their then second meeting in that chapter sound so much like they will follow the same path?
Personally, I took your explanations from the aforementioned chapters 8 and 13 to mean that we would get to see an evolution of Suzaku's thoughts to an eventual understanding and agreement with this new Zero, so I was excited to see the change in both character and canon, since so many writers stick so closely to the canon relationship of Suzaku and Euphy... ?

Holy moly! This was SUPER engaging and awesome. I've read wayyyy too many time travel! Lelouch fics and this one is by far the best I've come across.

I LOVE how you deal with politics. Usually, most of it just goes into one ear and out the other but oh my god this was brilliantly explained. You capture everyone's characters very well and I love your take on them. Especially Diethard (I can't actually remember if he had that backstory or not, it's been a while since I rewatched Code Geass) But if his backstory is of your own invention then it is ABSOLUTELY amazing.

I literally spent 12 hours binging this fic on my weekend. I'm really hoping you haven't abandoned it.

Good story but fails in the same way most code geass stories do... where they have to fill chapter after chapter with excuses of why lelouch wont geass problems away. He knows what a hassle suzaku is but refuses to geass his loyalty. At least there some sentiment from old friendship is a decent excuse
Wont geass the whining and rebellious black knights to be loyal and trust him. Wont geass reid to be loyal even after his inner monologue on how he cant be trusted. Keeps leaving jeremiah etc unused with bullshit excuses. Trying to keep everything the same even while acknowledging every two minutes things ha e changed. He is literally making all the same mistakes as canon except even worse because now he has knights of the round and an errant kusakabe running around. And he wont fucking use his ability to make things run smoother...

Lelocu should've kill him when he had the chance, he's not looking at the big picture, I can see why Dumbledore is not favored

Lelouch handled the hiccup with Suzaku and the trio fairly well, though hw does have to fake some stuff quickly. The simulation and speech were quite wonderful! Lelouch's final vow here was very nice indeed.

Good too see the BK's being as douchey as usual. Too many time travel fics just completely whitewash them or have Lelouch revealing his identity having Zero blowback.

Your writing is descriptive and smooth, making the story very easy to read. The plot is very tight too.

However (and maybe this is just a personal preference), everything seems to be moving at too slow a pace. I think the story would benefit with a faster pace (I repeat, this might just be personal preference).

The way I see it, you have written more words than the Order Of The Phoenix, and yet, you haven't reached Narita. Thus, speeding up the story might be beneficial.

Hell yeah. That's good as fuck.
