I really enjoyed this! I adore The Crucible, and of course, Abigail has some very nefarious intentions in the book. But I really think you've captured the meaning behind what she does.

I really loved the lyrical feel behind this, and I really love the fact that she knows that people look upon her with disdain, but she believes she's wonderful in God's eyes. How very true, yes? And really, I love that she basically defends everything she's done by claiming her intentions were good all along.

I think my favorite part about all this is that we never really get to hear from her towards the end (maybe we do, but it's been ages since I've read it, so forgive me if I'm wrong). This really brings some closure for me with Abigail's character. Oh, I still don't care for her, being the antagonist, but I think I can understand her more reading this. Plus, where would the story be without the villain? I think I read somewhere that it's the antagonist...the baddies...who drive the story. And Abigail certainly drove the story and this poem. Well done! I very much enjoyed. :)
