Good. I am glad this isn't "just another fallout fan fiction" and has it's own story on some level. Already you established the points to make a good story. I eagerly await to see what you will do with them.

actually, this made two and two equal four nicely. i am glad you went with what i said about developing characters. This chapter could be considered rushed but the transition and the summary pulled it off nicely. DO NOT neglect your characters now that you are getting to the meat of your story. not meaning anything negative, but i hope liz gets hit pretty badly early in the wasteland adventures, making her learn how to survive when she only knows how to hack, shoot a bb gun, and pick locks. getting knocked down a few times will usually make for more interesting characters and growth. i eagerly look forward to what you do with next chapter.

Depending on what cally777 said, don't fret over the story being too "fluffy" as you are developing characters. When I read a fan fiction, i get annoyed when an author skimps on the character development for the sake of getting a lot of story done. NOTHING is more boring than reading a story that does not bring interest to it's antagonist nor it's protagonist. The first chunk of a good story has lots of fluff about characters, getting you interested in him, his soon to be trials, emotional stability, etc. you are doing great, keep this up! I am curious at what point you will bring in the fallout story as a transition. :)

Thank you for not neutering Butch to make him elegible for romance. I like that you even put the chemistry in play and made it very possible for the characters to be natural about it. I'll be keeping tabs on your stories. Hope to see you conclude the story!
