Cool story! I want to see more plot twist Carmen Sandiego is the title taken for the position so they're still chasing Carmen.

Love the twist at the end. It shows you how desperate Ivy is to have Carmen in her life, that she actually becomes Carmen. Really well written and really deep.

Interesting. I think I agree with the person who put out an alert, though: this story isn't anywhere near complete. We need to see Zack's pursuit of Ivy - and, in particular, we need to see the scene where he finally catches up with her. Imagine the kind of emotional dynamite you could pack into that confrontation, if you did it right.

Nice. I always wondered how things would turn out if Ivy turned into a criminal and took over Carmen's legacy as the world's greatest thief. There weren't many details behind why she turned to crime in the last few moments. I know that Carmen can touch hearts in different ways, but I always viewed Ivy as being strictly moral. It was for the best though because like Carmen said, "Maybe there are some things we're not meant to know for sure."

I thought this was really well done and a fine extension of the series. I like the idea that Ivy might indeed consider taking up Carmen's fedora one day. Though I do kinda feel bad for Zack in this case... Wonderful story, i hope you continue to write more in this fandom should you be so inspired!
