You did a great job walking that line! It is difficult to do. My only pause is the whole time I kept wondering "but what about the comms? The whole team can hear what's happening!" That may be by design, we'll see when we get to the next chapter...

Kitchen lessons... always so hot! I love how you capture the sheer eroticism in mundane tasks when you're doing them with someone you're falling for. How we tend to find the sexy in the simple, the breath-taking in the bland...

First of all, great job at drawing us in and making us want more. Of course we want to know what happens next! Makes me think of when I've had *those* dreams and how horrible it was to wake up from them and not be able to get back there!

Second, I am so grateful for your author's note. I've been totally wrapped up in the Hardison/Parker/Eliot OT3 that I was hesitant to pull away from that into a single couple story-especially not the one they pushed on-screen. But I have to say, you have some very good points here, and I totally see what you're saying about Parker/Hardison being too nice - too neat, too wrapped up in a pretty bow. Parker and Eliot clearly challenge each other, and I'm anxious to see how that develops into the bedroom and beyond.

I realize this is coming 4 years after the fact ;) but I love it. I'd only make 2 changes. I'd leave out or change the word "violently" when Eliot kisses her. Violence and sex are
a tricky combination unless you are going for kink.

And I'd have dropped the condom bit. I can trust them to be responsible without reading it.

But other than those 2 nitpicks it was a great chapter.

your description of how Eliot's mistake is to give Parker the choice would have to be, hands down, my favorite. it really struck me and yeah. wow
