Once again this is me re-reading one of your fics finally leaving you a review.

It's a great follow-up to Puppet-Love, really excellent to see Emma & August through someone else's eyes - especially when that someone is the protective daddy!

What I really love about this fic is while it's humourous - really, really funny at times - it works because it's actually really realistic. Charming has only just got his daughter back, she's not his little baby girl, and already he's being displaced in her affections by another man whom he sees as a usurper. All of his thoughts and emotions and actions are realistic given the circumstances and I think that's probably why this story is so successful.

Also love Snow gradually becoming pissed off at him. She begins by being amused at him, then annoyed and finally pissed off when he uses one of their dates to spy on Emma. Love the way you showed this progression. The fact that when he's finally decided to try and accept August the sardonic voice in his head sounds like Snow is also brilliant.

This is the cutest thing ever! James being an overprotective father is something I'd love to see on the show. Also, I love stories where we see a certain relationship through the eyes of another character.

Adorable! I loved it. Of course James would be the one having more trouble with Emma and August being together. He might be a hopeless romantic but Emma is still his little girl. Good story.
