Ewww ladymerlot. Spoiler much.? Your review is the first thing that comes up when you open this book. Not sure I even want to read this now.

I've hesitated re-reading this. I am crying. Their baby is dead. Actually, murdered. Let's say it like it is. The emotional impact upon both of them is devastating. Tremendous grief and guilt for CHristian. Anna, losing her baby in this way is horrendous. The road to emotional recovery will be lengthy. When reading FSoG you never anticipate this. Elena may be dead. But she left in her wake such emotional intent was to destroy Ana and punish Christian for not loving her. Beautifully written. It has taken a few years to read this again. It hurt my heart.

Oh there is a special place in hell for the likes of the BT. She is so horrendous. What a hideous act, to knowingly try to kill a mother and her unborn child in front of her husband and family. And she thinks this will endear him to her? Delusional or what? Pure evil.

Love Ana’s empathy, but I’d imagine the teenagers would want to stay with their mother while their dad is missing? Couldn’t they all come to Seattle?

Why does he keep joking about getting a hot young housekeeper when he knows Ana has image issues due to pregnancy ~ seems cruel to me

No chapter has been so sad it made me cry and than at the end made me smile the biggest smile I have ever had. DING DONG the wicked bitch troll is dead, D.E.A.D., dead! The results of what happen is going to haunt Ana and Christian for a long time, they are going to grieve and miss their son. As Dr. Greene told them just because he wasn't born does not make him any less your baby, your Sam. It will be hard telling Grace and Teddy, they are so young and death is hard for adults to understand, much less young children. They are not going to understand the grief their parents will be going through and God knows how many times they are going to ask where Sam is.

I am just so glad that the wicked bitch is dead and she can not hurt Ana anymore. She never set out to hurt Christian, she just wanted control over him again but hurting Ana, threatening her she hurt Christian just as much if not more. Elena never understood love so she never understood by hurting one you hurtled the other. I do think she loved Christian in her own sick way, it just was in all the wrong ways that she was so obsessed with him.
