To be honest I couldn't tell who'd be the dominant participent in this one and actually expected Light to be the bottom...
and again it's cool that they are in character. so no overacting or something the similar. And this is what you're fantastic at. You could put this into the manga and nobody would realize that it doesn't belong there... it would totally fit.

I have to say, I had my doubts on reading 19,000 words all at once, but... You certainly have exceeded my expectations. I'm almost disappointed that this wasn't longer, but somehow it feels like any extra length would ruin it.
I suppose what I'm trying to say is despite its overwhelming length for a one-shot, your story has great quality. L and Light are both in character. So much in character that I feel it could have happened... Aside from the fact that your L wants to be wrong in the end. Canon L would always strive to be correct. But that's beside the point.
I'm very impressed with this one-shot, which is why I've given you such a lengthy review. Normally they are only two lines or so, but I felt this deserved more.
Write more fanfiction like this, and I'm sure you'll make a lot of fans happy.

Wow, that was amazing...
I have to say I admire the way you managed to keep the characters in character. This was so well thought out that I had a feeling that it might have been true. Your dialogue was perfect, and I could really picture them talking.
The only thing worth mentioning is the length, for some writers this oneshot is the same as 10 chapters, but I'm glad that it was so detailed. I think you could have made it into a multi-chapter story, just to give the reader courage enough to read it.
But, all in all, it was just amazing...

Wow, that was extremely accurate. Most Fanfic's stray from the characters basic personality traits and annoy me with their ideals but you stuck to the characters and had a good writing flow. Thanks for writing it, but i should admit that the ending made me sad, knowing what would happen after all this. The way you had written this left me unsure as to whether or not this could have happened. The probability itself was even that such events would occur. Very well done indeed. Thanks again for writing a good Fanfic.

That was a really though out and well written story. The only thing I have to criticize is that in the last part when they were in the "act" was for it be a little more detailed and/or intimate. However I do want to praise you on how the characters' personalities were described perfectly and the events in the story were sequenced well so they connected perfectly. Nice job :)

This is one of the first few stories on this website I've read, and I'll tell you now that I did not expect writing of this quality to be posted on a fanfic site. While reading your story I was able to clearly picture your scenes as if I was watching the anime. Not only this, but because of your accurate characterization I could hear their voice actors in my head while they spoke. The dialouge, being one of the hardest things for me to write, seems flawless to me here. Great job and thank you for writing such wonderful story.
