I love when Yuki went "I hate this curse because I can't hold her" and "Her lips are like strawberries... I wonder if they would taste as sweet". I squealed at those parts! And then when he tried to kiss her! This was very sweet and enjoyable to read. I am now gladly gonna put this in my favorites! ) |

| Shiro Ryuu chapter 1 . 6/5/2007 Aw. *roffles* I really liked the progression here—how he starts out angsting over his curse, then totally forgets it in favor of being flustered over Tohru—and then you tied it back in to the curse in the end, but without the angsting. :D And I should also note that this entire paragraph was, like, the best: “He stabbed the spade into the ground with uncharacteristic viciousness. Which was to say, it was only slightly vicious, as he wasn't very vicious at all to start with, and there's only a certain degree of viciousness that one can display when on your knees, wearing gardening gloves and a straw hat to block out the brightly shining sun overhead, while shoving a small and unthreatening spade into the earth.” ...Whew, thank goodness for copy-paste. _ |
