AokiKaede chapter 1 . 8/18/2016 I'm sitting in office and trying very hard (and failing) to fight back my tears. This is soooooo beautiful. |
FranArian chapter 1 . 4/2/2016 Actually, yes...I liked it very much. |
lalachoa chapter 1 . 10/22/2013 Love this whole set. |
Aya2013 chapter 1 . 10/2/2013 sad but lovely story! thanks! |
Guest chapter 1 . 5/9/2013 Nice |
Inusagi chapter 1 . 4/14/2013 So, I read this whole series today. I would have commented on every story, but 1) I'm lazy and 2) I was a little too keen to start the next story. It was lovely. There are a couple of particular parts I'm especially fond of, like the passage in one of the earlier stories about how finding out two men are a couple suddenly leads to people thinking about who's the "girl" and the like. It was nicely emotional without being maudlin (The entire story lines of both Phil and Frank). I laughed a lot, too, which is always nice. I don't think I've ever seen unicorns used in non-Potter fiction that wasn't a crack!fic. And was that passage referencing Mycroft Holmes, you sneaky thing? This particular story, you have listed as "could be a stand alone" I'd remove that, I read it before, and turned up very confused. But I read it again today after reading the rest, and it's a whole different ball game. It was a great adventure. And I hold you responsible for me getting nothing done today. Ta! |
Guest chapter 1 . 11/4/2012 loved it ...the threesome with Lois didn't feel right coz they worked with her but that's the only slightly negative thing I can say. I loved the charcterisation of Jack and Ianto and the explanation of why Gwen was special - always wondered why Jack would think she was soo special. |
Fick Chick chapter 1 . 9/30/2012 nice |
PadawannaB chapter 1 . 9/25/2012 I was looking for fics to re-read, and this is what I picked. It was all there, just as I remembered. The laughs, the tears, the goosebumps I always get from mindblowing things like this, and the utter sense of completeness: an end that really isn't, will never be. Maybe there's an end to an era, one we'd never thought to see; maybe there's an end to a long, long watch, one she's held in the shadows of centuries for reasons we never knew. But all of it is, always, only a part of a journey to the place where journeys begin, continue, grow and die to live again. The Wake leaves me speechless in it's brilliance, today as it did on the day I first read it. Your third series in it's entirety is out of this world, complete, full and vibrant. If I dared, I'd never stop reading it. But I don't: the sadness cuts too deep, and the happiness makes me cry, and the little endings and beginnings in the middle turn my world upside down. The moment I first read these, I knew they would stay with me forever. See what your stories do to me? I get all poetic and whatnot. To end this seemingly rambling but, in truth, entirely honest review, I'll say: "I liked this." |
DarqueQueen7 chapter 1 . 8/8/2012 How about 'I Loved This!'? D. |
thealienpanda chapter 1 . 7/20/2012 I love this. It made me cry, but I loved this. :) |
gaia-x-goddess chapter 1 . 7/14/2012 In that case... I liked this. |
Maximilien Robespierre chapter 1 . 7/10/2012 Interesting. An unusual take on how things might have gone. I liked the last one, especially. |
Stormreaver01 chapter 1 . 7/10/2012 A very good ending to your first story, beautifully written. Hmmm ... the end or is it merely the beginning of a new adventure? It was good. I liked it. |
Kefirah chapter 1 . 7/10/2012 Haven't even finished this but I'm giggling so hard at the colour changes of Ianto's ears, that I know I'm going to love it! Either that or it's nearly 4 am and I'm giddy with lack of sleep. No that can't be it. Either way, :D |
