that was heartbreaking but I enjoyed reading it. you did a great job at conveying emotion through words. I could feel what sam felt. you brought tears to my eyes. great job.

Ohmigod now I'm bawling my eyes out! If SG-1 all died... I don't know what I would do. The thought it just too depressing ;( damn I need to stop crying. This was so well-written I could feel the emotion. Argh I have to stop crying! They did NOT die during the series and are all alive! God, but if they all died... ah never mind. It's my worst nightmare too.

This was such an amazing, powerful, and realistic story. I almost NEVER cry while reading fanfiction, or book, but this had me bawling! Amazing story! You are such a talented writer!

Very sad...your writing conveyed the enormity of the loss, mostly for Sam, of course, but also for all the others. The grief is so "touchable"...oh, you made me cry!

I really enjoyed this. There's not that much realistic fanfiction out there IMO. I realise that Stargate was a family show, and thus the heroes had a tendency to come out on top despite the odds. However, in real life, I'd expected something to go wrong or that we'd at least get to see the characters change based on the rather risky life they lead. So thank you for this! I liked it. :-)

Devastating, indeed. It doesn't even have to be AU; you have to wonder if that wasn't a source of nightmares for Sam when she went to Atlantis, that SG-1 would finally come up against something they couldn't beat, and she wouldn't be there...

Gah! This is too sad to contemplate. As terrible as this would be, I don't think Sam would break like that in front of her people. I think she'd completely break down in private though, or if just John was with her.
