Wow... this was quite well done! You had me on the verge of tears... it's not that I cry easily, but this just brought a tear to my eye... it was a really dark and nearly depressed atmosphere you described there, and I really felt for Luffy. Poor Pirate King! But it was soo cute how Ace managed to cheer him up again :) He cheered me up along too xD The atmosphere of this story changed and I really had to smile :) Ace's absolutely right, and he has to be the best bro in the world :,)
The ending was so powerful, so great! I really loved this and can't wait to see more of this! Marco would be pretty interesting to read about! Keep it up! ;3

It was awesome and even though it was short I really liked it, and i feel sad for luffy for losing people because he doesn't seem to cope well with the death of others, and just awsome, you should do Nami or Zoros veiw next.

I don't need to criticize! It's awesome! Are you planning to do all of the characters' views of death? If you are, well...let's just say you totally should. XD keep writing!

I thought that this was really good. To me, the story held enough emotion to feel it and it was great reading it. And Luffy, everyone will be proud of him when that day comes.

This is another great story and can't wait to see what else you'll do.
