I know this was made and finished years ago, but wow... I like the way these stories handled things and the overall strange tone of it. Highlighting certain bits of canon and mostly keeping the characters true to themselves. I couldn't describe to you the pure excitement I had felt when I had gotten to the part where Atem's dad showed up, or the heartbreak of having the protagonist killed off. I won't lie, I'm really REALLY craving some positive closure on that note, like making the next person to bear the Puzzle appear not too long after this and have the guy catch a break in this story, or do something with Yugi. since his time was short and his death skipped over for the most part. However, that would just be my own personal preference for a happy ending. Other than that, it's just wow. It's like a slap in the face, but not completely in a bad way, and there were plenty of humorous parts to laugh at. So... yeah. Awesome story!

good way to end the fic, although now i'm craving another epilogue in which everything is finally resolved (or in which Marik gets a train ride).

What the hell kind of ending was that! You say that Atem will get an afterlife then you kill Yugi which prevents it for thousands of years and end it? I am so mad.

At least you should let us know who would be the next person worthy of Millennium Puzzle. And you forgot to tell us about all other Millennium Items such as Ring and Neklace. Did Mahad claim the ring or not

I feel so empty inside that ending has destroyed me because I WASNT EXPECTING THAT AT ALL YUGI DYING IS RUDE AND UNCALLED FOR and the future was upsetting and Stem hasn't moved on, he lost his other half, he's alone in his mind, the puzzle is still together so his mind ia in one piece and he will remember everything without communicating with anyone for however long and I'm very upset because it was perfect and that's worse that's the worst because it's terrible and painful and fucking works
