Seeing this scenario play out is always interesting to me, and it's nice the way it ended...that his images of actually slitting her throat were a trick. Nicely done. (And I really hate to be That Person, but the artery in the neck is spelled "carotid." That doesn't take away from the story - just trying to be helpful.)
