I find it tragic that a story this good is so relatively unknown. But it's also pretty cool. The whole thing is a bit of a private showing.

Love how the pace of this fic is going so far, you have a knack of speeding it up when you need to, then slowing it down when you start writing about what certain characters are thinking, its excellent :)

This is getting really... Wow. I'm really curious about what happens next. That "Hail Sithis" really got me. Athene sure knows how to drive fear into a person. I love the ambush by Cicero, it sounded so scary. I think this story is really great.

I'm trying to determine a practical reason why people have not reviewed this story. It's a gem in this archive. It isn't perfect - your characterizations of Athene could use polishing and the narrative is a bit choppy, but it's your ideas are so, so original and I love how you weave everything together, so it isn't just a bunch of separate quests, but a streamlined plot with all these little hints and details that drag me deeper into it. Kind of like a web. It bloody well deserves more reviews.

Just read the last 10 or so chapters and I like how the story is progressing, especially with Babette and Athene talking about vampirism and how she was cured, and now with this latest chapter where she confronts the master vampire himself to get Agni back, that was a very tense moment...in the game I used stealth all the way, I dont have Athenes' courage haha :)

Looking forward to what happens next, it a very good story so far! :)

An excellent chapter. You just gave us a wonderful window into the workings of Athene's mind. I especially liked, "Was he questioning his own beliefs, alone at the top, while Athene questioned hers, here at the bottom of the heap?" And her thinking that her journey has been a "trail of unfinished things" is so perfectly poetic. This chapter was really bittersweet for me for some reason, but I loved it. Thanks for writing.
