Reviews for The Second World's War
Rosadina chapter 1 . 4/22/2018
Chilling in the best way. The last line. Wow.
decoris chapter 1 . 2/19/2017
This is amazing!

I really enjoyed England's character in this. I looked up War Plan Red and was shocked. Something like that just seems crazy, and I'm happy you were able to spin it into such an interesting story. This had all my weak points: good USUK, time travel, alternative realities, and inhumanity. I haven't read something like this in a while and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
i dunno chapter 1 . 12/13/2016
oh, also, you should look into US general patton and how he said "we defeated the wrong enemy."
i dunno chapter 1 . 12/13/2016
as much as i hopelessly adore USUK and wouldn't have changed the outcome, america's fear was legitimate. america unknowingly did indeed help spread communism to the whole world by choosing to engage in WWII on the allied side. if it isn't apparent enough for you now, it will be soon. i have a lot of respect for you entertaining this angle, it's very uncommon and overlooked and heavily sidelined (for a reason..) the ideas you come up with are always uniquely impressive and sometimes they lead me to believe you know more than i think you do. thank you for sharing your talent through these exploitative albeit noble anglos. their dynamic is one of the coolest oddities to history and you do it glory
AshesOnTheWind chapter 1 . 11/30/2014
This was really really really good, and the ending was just like...woah xD
Karano chapter 1 . 11/5/2014
I didn't expect that ending, okay?
It fucked me up. Really badly.
*sighs because she has a deciding exam tomorrow and now bam, some awesome fanfic to think about*
Great one shot.
A Field of Starlight chapter 1 . 7/22/2013
That. Was. Fdgbljihadgsuilhgarbiuhiuldfsnupivesfipunbaernluia rbn-ing awesome! Although I'm slightly confused. If only the world power at a point in history has the power to change the past... How did England do it at the end?
And this is totally random, but YOU CAN CHOOSE AMERICAN AND CANADIAN STUDIES AS A MAJOR IN THE UK?
jagaimo-chan chapter 1 . 6/22/2013
QwQ I'm just wondering why I never commented on this story before. I remember reading it when you posted it but I really felt like reading it again and GOD, the feels. Especially the ending. That was beyond unexpected...and shocking. I wonder how the world would look like today if America wasn't here. o.O I don't even know how to put my thoughts into words right now.
I love the irony of this story. We know, of course, that there was no all-out nuclear war or anything else destroying the world. The Soviet Union was disbanded and the Cold War is over but America all caught up in his own paranoia tried to "save" the world by killing probably many, many more than in the First World's timeline. He sacrificed his own happiness and eventually his status as a superpower so he cannot even go back and change anything. And then that plot twist at the end QwQ I already cried after the first half of the story when America told England of his plans. But this. LOOK AT ALL THESE TISSUES ON MY DESK! Sometimes you're downright evil with your stories. And then wishing everyone who read this a happy 4th July...HAPPY! xDD
But still, the idea, the development of the plot, the writing..brilliant as usual!
I always wonder where you get such fantastic ideas! ;o;
And I finally found that documentary on youtube. I can't believe that plan really exists! D:
homesickpirate chapter 1 . 2/4/2013
Can you just... You don't even know what you did to my feels just now. And I must say, if I had read that on the fourth of July... it would not have been very happy at all. You just made me cry in all the right ways. You are actually the best writer on this website and I can't even express my love for your writing... okay sorry I'm done now!
Xenia van Hausen chapter 1 . 1/26/2013
There would've been no way for me to have had a "happy July 4th" if I was to read this on that exact date. My god, you are a brilliant writer and I hope I can be half of what you are sometime along the way.

This wasn't even that long of a story, but halfway through I was already crying. And I mean serious crying, bawling my eyes out and a running nose and swelling eyes. I've lost count of how many times I couldn't stop myself from going back and rereading this story in the past hour and I'm still crying each time I go through it.

I've read a few of your other stories, and they captivated me each and every time I read them. I don't know how you do it, but I love your writing style. It's refreshing and somehow nostalgic; there's a touch of a classic feel to it. I sure hope I'll get to read more of your writings. Hell, I would even try your original works if you have any.

I actually would like to get to know you, if that's all right?
Guest chapter 1 . 12/23/2012
Oh wow so the England in this story also went back in time? Once... twice? Jeez, mindf*ck...
Guest chapter 1 . 12/23/2012
England remembers :0 And I assume the last bit was the Revolution so ooohhmmiiiggaawwdddd you evil author!
bgtea chapter 1 . 9/11/2012
What an incredibly fascinating yet scary concept. And how quickly did things just spiralled out of hell. Wow. Fantastically written.
fakiagirl chapter 1 . 9/1/2012
I find the Cold War fascinating, especially America's attitude during the worst parts of it, and I completely buy that Alfred would turn back time to prevent it if he could, no matter the cost. USUK Cold War alternate history win.

The ending was just perfect, by the way. This is the best USUK fic I've read in a long time. I loved it.
bsc11 chapter 1 . 8/17/2012
I really enjoyed this! Great to see some alternative history based hetalia! Loved the writing style and everything- only problem was - I wish it was longer!
Great job
