Gosh darn.

See, now THIS is a proper crossover. Characters are in-character. Barbossa might have been a bit tricky to write, particularly his dialogue, but you did splendidly.

Discord's freedom and Barbossa's corruption was unexpected and injected some hard action and drama into a story that was actually a little light-hearted.

We got death, violence, destruction and enough blood, sweat and tears to make this into a real PG-13 border-line R-rated Movie. And it was brilliant. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the story. Captain Hector Barbossa's reunion with the other members of the mane six was bittersweet all things considered. He'll finally get a chance at redemption. But how? How will he get his revenge? How will Discord be defeated this time when Celestia, Luna, the Royal Guard, and Twilight are all encased behind a mirror?

Right at what was shaping up to be the beginning of the climax, namely this chapter, where we'll get the confrontation, Discord's defeat, Barbossa's apology to everyone and 'everypony' and then finally going back to Davy Jones' Locker after a hardcore adventure in another world, it just... stops. It. Just. Stops.

For a reader, this is quite frustrating. This is a really good story and you're literally almost at the end when it rounds off. Considering how much you've progressed thus far, I know for certain that you've already got it planned it and was about to finish it but for some reason that hasn't been explained, the story just ends abruptly on an unintended cliffhanger.

I can understand why these sorts of things happen. Events in your own life, personal issues or even a simple case of writer's block. But for god's sake man, when you're AT THE END, at least leave something that lets your readers know what's going on. An note on your profile or something. Anything! Instead we get a ending that isn't an ending. No Author's note. No warning. Just... nothing.

I know I don't really have any right yelling at you. You're doing this (or was anyway) for free and on your own time. It's your life and your story and you can do what you like with it. I understand that. I am thankful for what you published publicly. I just wish you had finished this gem of a story and not left it to gather dust FOR 3 YEARS!

I do apologize if I appear arrogant or conceited but I'm just venting my frustration here at the loss of a conclusion for a good story. So I'll part with good praise.

You're a good author. The story was good. The concept was good. The execution was decent and likable. Characters were great and on-point. Narrative was easy to follow. Punctuation and grammar was spot-on mostly. And to have a good story like this at the finale's door, well... It certainly keeps readers invested and wanting to see what happens next.

Ohh man I can't believe I found this Fic! I've read this once before a very long time ago and then last week I watched The Pirates of The Caribbean: Curse of The Black Pearl.
I then remembered reading this fic and hopped on to find it again. To my delight, it's still here! And it's been updated!
I do hope you continue this at some point, but take your time, I can wait.
