Please keep writing! Your work is fantabulous and I've enjoyed reading it so much. Also, personally I don't think you need to worry so much about Darcy's character. I don't know if you've already gone back and edited some of your previous chapters, but I found Darcy to be quite in keeping with the rest of Darcy fanfiction out there. Your writing brought me a lot of joy and I can't wait to see what you have planned going forward. And while I understand your desire to check your work before posting, I am going to plead and beg that you don't take too long before posting the next chapter as I have become addicted to this masterpiece of yours.
P.S. I don't think you could replace Darcy's name with any others you have given her great character, wit, intelligence, and moxy.
