Wow, this is so good! I love 15-year-old Sherlock - still so innocent, not yet a junkie, and yet already obviously fascinated by crime and detective work. "He works at the Yard, you have to keep him" - priceless!

As for Mycroft, it's an intriguing take, that he might have once considered suicide. For all we know, he did - he must have had some experience to make him decide that caring is not an advantage, and it certainly didn't come from his parents - and, according to your story, it didn't come from Sherlock either. I wonder what did make him close his emotions off.

Great job on this, I would definitely read more if you ever decided to elaborate.

I personally see Mycroft as being asexual and Lestrade being straight and they only communicate with each other when Sherlock needs handling. That aside, Mycroft can't help but teasingly give Lestrade mixed signals which freaks Greg out. I mean, how do you tell a man who IS the British Government you're not interested and hope he doesn't make you disappear. LOL.

What an interesting story ! I particularly liked the way you handled Sherlock's small appearance at the end.

Aw, so cute... but can‘t you really turn this into a mystrade? Because i would love to see their relationship turn into that... as well as seeing mycroft‘s behavour towarfs the man who practically saved his life. Could you doit? Pwease, please, could you? :)

That was a great story. It was really sweet to witness young Lestrade and Mycroft meet each other for the first time, despite the circumstances. I would like to see a sequel, perhaps exploring what drove Mycroft to consider taking his own life, Sherlock's reaction to it (after all he's already figured it out) or to see how their relationship progresses from here.

You should continue this!
